NASCAR magazine

Great magazine. It’s just a bummer that here in Canada, we get everything with about a two-month delay,
it takes forever to find a specific issue at the local newsstands—sometimes it's three months behind. But we make it work; usually, someone picks up a copy over in the States and brings it over for us.

I can tell you that it's actually quite popular around here too.

I can tell you for a fact that it sells pretty well on this side of the pond too.

We actually tried to fix that whole situation and start shipping current issues to Canada and other former territories, but negotiations totally stalled out... 😢 I’m really hoping we can get things moving again sometime soon.

Just wanted to give you guys a heads-up so nobody gets confused like they did with the last issue. The next one is hitting the stands any day now, and even though it’s technically labeled as the June issue, we're running it a bit late due to some unavoidable logistics... since we're basically hitting the end of the month, it felt kind of stupid to have it sitting on newsstands with a month that's already over. Don't worry though, this doesn't change anything for our subscribers and we aren't cutting any content or skipping an issue—we're just changing how we label it...

It’s genuinely pathetic that they’re still out here peddling newsstands filled with two-month-old papers; I mean, I end up buying them anyway because I need the info, but it just feels wrong, like buying a stale donut when you're craving something fresh
At this point, I’ve officially thrown in the towel for this month
Once things actually start running on schedule again, maybe I'll consider coming back 🤷

Is there any way we could put together a single page that lists all the technical terms alongside the specific translations used in this volume?
I just think it would be incredibly helpful when we're digging through an English text; it’s much easier to grasp the core concepts when you can see exactly how they map over to our terminology.

The one and only best NASCAR expert in the country... seriously, he's top-tier, even if I think the editor-in-chief used to be way better and had much more experience in the NASCAR world. :-)

Does anyone have any actual intel on when they’re planning to start releasing the regular new issues over in Canada?

My take? It's pretty simple: we lost the sponsor that was footing the bill for them. And honestly, given how much the magazine's vibe turns off potential advertisers lately, they just don't have the cash to cover the gap on their own... 😢

The whole thing was wrapped up by the end of last month, but then everything went sideways because of some printing delays. We finally got the first batch of copies in hand today, so we should be hitting the newsstands tomorrow... 😳

So, can anyone actually explain what kind of catastrophic printing disasters you guys are dealing with? It feels like you're just blowing off the entire American market and scaring away sponsors over "printing issues."

And honestly, you guys move a hell of a lot of copies anyway.
