Can't we just ask one of the moderators to fix a signature? Like they did for mine 😍? 🀷

That marks the second pair of sleeves. 😁
However, I am quite uncertain as to which of the moderators is responsible for such actions. πŸ™‚

I've got a question. I'm honestly not even sure if this is possible, but figured I'd throw it out there and see what happens.

So, I figured out how to drop a YouTube link that starts at a specific second instead of just dumping the whole video on people, right? But now I'm wonderingβ€”is there actually a way to set a start AND an end point? Like, from second X to second Y?
Right now, all I can do is set the starting point, but I can't tell the player where to stop (if that's even a thing).

The reason I'm asking is because sometimes I find these massive videos, and I don't want to have to type out a whole damn note telling everyone, "Hey, just watch from minute 2 to minute 5." It's such a pain.

Thanks! πŸ™‚

So, I guess this is basically just a tutorial on how to actually navigate the forum and what kind of stuff you should be asking about here πŸ™‚
But honestly, since you brought it up, I don't think that's even an option on YouTube.

Nah, that’s just not how it works. πŸ™‚ You’re basically just picking the starting point for where the video begins buffering, but it's always going to load all the way to the end eventually.

Anyone figured out how to pull up a list of all my own posts on this forum?

Just click on my username and then hit "Find more posts by Amy Gomez4."
Or you can just head over to my profile and under the Statistics tab, select "Find all posts by Amy Gomez4."

I could really use a hand here,
I’ve been trying to use the search bar to track down a specific thread about magnesium chloride, but it feels like I’m stuck scrolling endlessly through pages and pages just to find what I need... I honestly don't have the patience for it, or maybe I'm just doing something wrong, so if anyone could point me in the right direction or give me some tips on how to find exactly what I'm looking for without all this digging, I'd be so grateful...

I need some help here..
I think I mashed some random keys or something, and now this forum looks totally bleached out.. like, the background is just blindingly white..
Everything’s gone all washed out on me..
What do I gotta do to get back to how it wasβ€”you know, with the blue background?
Thanks in advance..

I attempted to use the search engine to locate a specific discussion regarding magnesium chloride, but it feels as though I would have to sift through endless pages of content just to find what I am looking for. I simply couldn't quite navigate the processβ€”or perhaps I just lacked the necessary patienceβ€”so please, if anyone could offer some assistance or a few tips on how to reach my destination more efficiently in the future, I would be most grateful.

The most effective strategy is to enter your desired search term into Google, followed by a space, and then append "site:usforums.com" (without using any quotation marks). Furthermore, if you wish to ensure the results contain that exact phrase specifically as it is written, you can enclose the term within quotation marks.

For instance,

magnesium chloride site:usforums.com

This will yield the following:

https://www.google.com/search?q=magne...w=1280&gl=us

Keith Gonzalez said:The smartest way to go about it is just to type whatever you're looking for into Google, hit space, and then add "site:reddit.com" (and don't bother with quotes there). If you actually want results that contain that exact phrase and nothing else, you can wrap the search term in quotation marks...

For instance,

magnesium chloride site:reddit.com

And you'll end up with this:

https://www.google.com/search?q=magne...w=1280&bih=624

Why does it kick me all the way back to the first page of a thread whenever I delete one of my posts? I realize that's just how the settings are configured, but still, isn't that a bit silly? Especially when you're deep into a thread with dozens of pages.

I’ve noticed that certain moderators have these perfectly formatted signaturesβ€”you know, they’ve messed with the colors and the fontsβ€”but for some reason, I can't seem to get mine to look any different. At least, that's what the settings say when I'm trying to edit it.
"Allow Color BB Code Ne"
"Allow Size BB Code Ne"
"Allow Font BB Code Ne"
Do those folks have special administrative privileges or something? Or am I just missing something obvious?
My apologies if this question has already been asked and answered elsewhere. πŸ™‚

Jeffrey Peterson said:So, moderators have special privileges or something?

Precisely. Moderators can customize their own signaturesβ€”playing with colors, font sizes, bolding, and so on. Some even have the tools to adjust signatures for other users.

Unfortunately, that level of editing isn't available to standard members.

If you want a specific look, just shoot me a private message or reach out to one of the moderators. Tell us what you're looking for, and we'll take care of the formatting for you.

Is there a way to check the EXIF data for a photo that's been posted on this forum?

For example, take this shot of mine here:

Right-click and save the image wherever you want..
Then pop it into Photoshop or whatever you use (I just threw it into Lightroom).. once it's imported, check the metadata.
The owner goes by: Ms. M. S.-N.

Focal length: 200mm
