So what, you're saying there aren't any gay guys among the bodybuilders?
And vice versa, right? 😬

Look, I never actually said that! It’s not like I claimed there aren't any in, say, pro football or any other sport either.
My point—which seems to be getting lost in the sauce here—is just that I can't stand how people basically equate being a bodybuilder with being gay. Like, if someone hits the gym or follows the sport, are you seriously implying they're automatically part of the community? Because that's a massive stretch.
It’s pretty obvious you’ve been leaning a bit too hard into those old-school stereotypes...
Man, where did this whole conversation even go? It's spiraling...🙄
We should really be debating who’s actually stronger instead of all this nonsense!😁

My point is that I find the practical equivalence of bodybuilders and gay men to be offensive. If someone identifies as a bodybuilder, or even if they simply follow the sport or lift recreationally, are you suggesting they are automatically gay? Is that truly your contention?

I am certainly not making that claim, though I haven't noticed anyone else on this thread attempting to do so either.
Schwarzenegger is such an icon 🙂 that there is no longer any need to reiterate his dominance. ''I'm the party pooper.'' 🤣

Just answer these two questions for me:
Do you personally consider admiring a physique like Schwarzenegger's to be gay—or if you want to be blunt, homosexual? Are you expressing disgust at that photo simply because you think being interested in it makes you one?
And second: in your own opinion, what was the biggest driver of his success: the muscles, his sense of humor, or something else entirely?

Personally, I find homosexuals repulsive 🙂 , which is why I use certain terms, and it bothers me when they are lumped in with bodybuilders.

I honestly don't even know how to respond since you've spent the entire day obsessing over the connection between gay people and bodybuilders. Honestly, it's pretty uncalled for because it has nothing to do with the actual topic of this thread.

It's honestly terrible that you hold these stereotypes about bodybuilders and men who post their photos online, acting like they're all immediately gay. Now I'm actually worried you'll start accusing everyone of being a bodybuilder next. At this rate, it'll be like the Red Scare in America, but targeting bodybuilders instead of communists.

SHAME ON YOU, EDE! BODYBUILDERS ARE PEOPLE TOO!!!! 🙂

I mean, maybe we *are* being a little selective...

Look, we don't even have to look that far! We’ve got our very own May Mioković—I mean, she’s basically a world-class junior champion in body fitness🙂 😍 :image

Now, just to be totally clear, I'm not exactly a huge fan of women's bodybuilding myself👎

MAYA, MAYA! Our very own "Goldmaya," the right hand of Goldfinger, possessing a truly formidable physique. ''No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die at my feet.''

Good grief, look at those muscles. Are those even real? Is she even a woman? 🙄

On-topic: Schwartz pulled it off by playing his cards right and being smart about it. He’s got the physique, he’s got that ridiculous accent, and honestly, everything he says sounds better just because it's him. His action flicks are solid too, so for guys like Van Damme or Sly, he's basically the gold standard.

Arnold Schwarzenegger🙏

He’d take down Sly in a heartbeat, though looking at today's so-called action "heroes," I have my doubts 🙄 .
I was watching some Bournov movie the other day and honestly, who are they kidding? Matt Damon could probably get handled with one hand tied behind his back in a real fight.
Back in the day, Arnie could have ripped an arm right out of your socket.
Same goes for Sly and Segal—those were the days for action movies, not this modern stuff.
But out of all of them, Arnold Schwarzenegger is still king.

As for extreme bodybuilding, there's a limit. You shouldn't go overboard.

Megan Ruiz13 said:When one observes the so-called action "heroes" of today, what does one actually see? 🙄 .
I watch Bournov’s supposed dominance lately and find myself wondering exactly who they think they are fooling? Is it truly believable that he holds such sway? In a real-world confrontation, one could easily imagine Matt Damon dismantling him with a single hand tied behind his back.
Back in his prime, Arnold Schwarzenegger could have realistically ripped your arm clean off your body.
Just like Sly, Segal, and the rest of them—those were the true golden eras of action cinema, weren't they? They don't make movies like that anymore.

Is it not an undeniable truth? One must wonder if Vin Diesel is merely playing a part, perhaps even orchestrating a facade. 🙄I would personally take him down. It makes one wonder, though—did we once possess a greater sense of reverence for our action heroes? 😁

Megan Ruiz13 said:When it comes to women's bodybuilding, there is certainly a reasonable threshold for physical development, but one must wonder why people feel the need to push beyond all sense of moderation? There is a limit to how far one should take it before it ceases to be about fitness and becomes an exercise in excess.

Has this discussion finally become the definitive focal point of the entire thread? 🤣 😂

Adam Harris7 said:It's the truth... Vin Diesel is just playing a part, like in 🙄. I could take him down myself if I had to. It feels like there was once a genuine sense of awe surrounding action stars, a respect they just don't command anymore... 😁

But Vin Diesel is unstoppable when he's playing Riddick; honestly, it would be nearly impossible to touch him... 👍

I mean, sure, if you want to compare Stallone to Schwarzenegger, whatever, but putting him in the same sentence as Diesel😲?!?
Give me a break, seriously...

Truly, how could we have possibly allowed ourselves to forget about the Hulk? 😢 And then there are the classics... those true gems that simply defy modern standards—much like an IMDb rating plummeting in real time. Eureka! I have found it: Cowboys : high Noon AT Grand Canyon!

image

Is there any greater pursuit than catching waves through the lens of the Cowboy lifestyle? It is about more than just the ride; it is about embracing that high Noon AT Grand Canyon spirit while out on the water. 😎
