And apparently, even a forensic expert from Halifax isn't entirely a figment of your imagination.

Ichabod Crane showed up at my place with glowing reviews. Honestly, it feels like Mr. Spielberg spent the entire year before filming nothing but eating fiber, because I’ve never seen a bigger mess. And mind you, I once caught Dumbo having an accident right in the middle of the San Diego Zoo.

we were all just waiting for you to check in....🤣.🤣..

👍

I mean, I guess you’re kind of pulling those jokes out of thin air, sort of like how Mirko Fodor does with his punchlines... 👍

It looks like you’re running through jokes just like Mirko Fodor used to run through punchlines 👍

Mirko Fodor is totally out. Edo Vujić rocks!

Man, I finally got around to watching Ichi. Honestly, Mr. Miike probably spent the entire year before filming that absolute disaster eating nothing but straight fiber, because I swear I’ve never seen such a massive pile of crap in my life. And hey, I say that as someone who once happened to be at the San Diego Zoo right when Tantor decided to let loose.

Just admit it—you're way more into those "masterpieces" like Titanic, AVP, and obviously that garbage "Day After Tomorrow" and all the other junk Hollywood keeps shoving down our throats... not to mention Butterfly Effect, which is just a pathetic rip-off of Donnie darak zar.

Ichi is pure gold, so don't even come at me about him. 🙂

😲 Is it really that obvious? Even I—a total amateur—am going to step up and challenge this "film expert." You just happened to forget mentioning Spielberg, Lucas, and the Wachowskis.

I wouldn't touch him again—not even with rubber gloves.

@ zeljkoo: check out 'Samurai Fiction (Episode One)' by Hiroyuki Nakano (1998). It’s a gritty samurai flick, though maybe not in the way you'd typically expect 😉 (you can find it on torrent sites)

@ everyone else: has anyone actually seen the original? It gets pretty confusing at times, but honestly, it borders on incomprehensible... as for the remake—no clue. Haven't seen it, but since Connery is in it, it probably won't be too hard to sit through (😍 )

Where can I find it?!?

The first half of that sentence is just typical nonsense about people from Japan, while the rest sounds like Visitor Q by Miike. 😁

I don't think these folks obsessed with Japanese cinema realize that they churn out maybe 400-500 films a year over there. Most of them are shit. Some are good. A few are excellent.

But for crying out loud, that doesn't mean every time Miike has a bad day he produces a masterpiece. A little critical thinking wouldn't hurt...

I’ve only ever watched the Japanese version, which I absolutely loved. That’s actually why I haven't bothered with the American remake—I have a feeling it wouldn't have hit the same way. I still have the US version sitting in my collection, though, it just gathers dust.

So, in other words—you've got a grudge against the American version? 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 (How stupid of me!)

Unlike Hollywood, which hasn't put out a decent movie in years.
