Is there actually any way to get rid of these red veins in my eyes? People keep asking if I've been drinking or what's wrong with my face... I look like a total wreck😢 though, honestly, just thinking about any kind of "procedure" near my eyes makes me want to crawl out of my skin😱 anyone else dealing with this crap?

I’m dealing with the exact same thing. My eyes turn red the second I push myself even a little bit. Have you tried using some high-strength eye drops? Something like $8.25. You can usually pick those up over the counter

Unfortunately, those sunglasses aren't an option for me since I wear contacts😢

My issues with broken capillaries started right when I switched to contacts. I’ve since gone back to wearing glasses.🙂

I've never even bothered wearing glasses... they just don't work for my type of nearsightedness, especially when you factor in some other weird anomaly I've got going on😢

Artificial tears? Honestly, they work way better for me than those over-the-counter drops (I've tried just about every brand out there). I wear contacts too...

Artificial tears are fine, I guess, but honestly I don't really need them since my eyes stay moist enough on their own... the only issue is how those gross little capillaries show up so clearly😢 😢

Wait, why though?

The manual says you aren't supposed to use eye drops while wearing contacts...😁 I actually did it once when my eyes were feeling super irritated, but I made sure to stay out of my lenses for two whole days after that...

I don't know, man. Personally, using some artificial tears actually settles my eyes down quite a bit—it even helps clear up those tiny broken capillaries and all that redness. Have you maybe noticed if your eyes get extra bloodshot sometimes? Like, maybe from staring at a computer screen too long, sitting under the AC, just being exhausted, or dealing with seasonal allergies? Or maybe it's just the pollen, or even heavy makeup? Honestly, or are they just perpetually hungover? What’s the doc saying about it?

It’s always the same thing—just a few big red capillaries showing up in both my eyes😢 obviously, they get way more noticeable if I'm walking against the wind or hanging out in a smoky room or whatever... but generally there isn't any specific reaction to staring at a computer screen or reading or anything like that... doctors don't say anything, they act like it's totally normal (and I'm not exactly in my prime anymore, so I guess that plays a part too)😁

My capillaries are absolutely exploding in my eyes lately, just constant redness and irritation. My allergist actually suggested using Alomide drops, but honestly, they didn't do a thing for me—if anything, I feel like things actually got worse after I started them.
I tried using some Claritin eye drops a while back, but those weren't exactly a miracle cure either, if you know what I mean.
Does anyone out there actually know of any other drops that might actually work for once?

I swear by the Neutrogena Sensitive gel! It’s honestly a lifesaver.

Prices are high, yeah, but you can find stuff three times cheaper that uses basically the same ingredients as those Prozac drops. As for just treating yourself... I don't know. Honestly, it’s probably smarter to just go see Dr.

I already went to the doctor, but they just prescribed me some Alomide drops and they aren't doing a damn thing for me.
So, I guess I'll just try using the probiotic drops myself and see what happens.

I could use some advice—I’ve been wearing contact lenses for about a month now. I use the J&J Acuvue Oasys lenses, which are truly excellent. I use Blink drops whenever my eyes feel a bit dry after spending all day in front of a computer. I wear my contacts all day long, from 6:30 AM until 10:00 PM. I also use Solo Care Aqua solution, which is wonderful. I don't have any issues other than the fact that for the last few days, I've noticed visible blood vessels in my eyes. They aren't extremely red, but they are quite noticeable. My sister doesn't wear contacts, yet she has the exact same blood vessels, so I'm not overly worried. I was wondering if this is dangerous and how I can fix it? Should I use specific drops or solutions? Thanks in advance..🙏

It’s definitely a little concerning if you're dealing with a bunch of broken capillaries because those contact lenses just won't sit right on your eyes! It might seem like nothing more than some minor irritation now, but honestly, letting it go could lead to some real trouble down the road.

I believe this explains it. When I spend long hours working on my computer, wearing glasses causes much less eye strain than wearing contact lenses. I've noticed that my eyes tend to get bloodshot if I wear contacts in front of a screen for too long, so I make it a point to switch to glasses whenever possible. At least when I'm relaxing at home.

And then there are those blue light glasses specifically designed for computer use.
