I’ve been wondering if I have some kind of psychological quirk—though I can't quite put a label on it😁 —but here’s the thing: every single time I finish a shower, wash my hands, or get out of a pool or the ocean... well, every time my hands are damp and just starting to dry, I get this overwhelming, almost uncontrollable urge to slather them in lotion. It’s more than just wanting soft skin, though; I actually get this sensation like my hands are tightening up, and I feel completely restless until I coat them in something oily or creamy.😁
And the funniest part? I feel most at peace when I'm using Nivea.🤔

It’s a nightmare, right? I’m washing my hands constantly (even when I’m just lounging around the house doing nothing), and then I have to moisturize immediately after. It's a cycle. Constant, constant, constant, constant... I'm completely obsessed.

The worst part is being at the beach in the summer... that stubborn salt... it just won't budge! Ugh, it drives me absolutely insane... That feeling where your hands get all papery and dry... it's awful, just AWFUL!

I've got the exact same issue. Honestly, my only fix is carrying hand cream everywhere. I usually stick to Bubchen baby protection, though Holliplant or even Scheller with calendula or arnica work great too. But if you catch yourself counting stairs or tracking how many times you've spread butter on a piece of toast, you might want to worry 😁
