Brian Cox turned down the chance to reprise his role as Hannibal Lecter in The Long Riders...

The reason?
"I don't do sequels," he reportedly said...😁

Batman;

Bill Murray was actually lined up to play Bruce Wayne,

I don't know, I think it would have been pretty interesting to see (not that Keaton was bad 👍)

This one is a total gem;

Christopher Walken was actually in the running for the role of Han Solo,

he even made it down to the final two before George Lucas ultimately went with Ford...

I'm pretty sure Princess Leia was supposed to be Sissy Spacek, but honestly, I can't be bothered to go look it up right now.😳

Sophia Williams said:I just can't picture Michelle Pfeiffer being anything like Mia Farrow—it feels a bit too... well... out of reach for me...🙄

I really have to apologize here.
I don't know what came over me?!
"Too old"?
And yet, I still think Debbie Harry is the most beautiful woman on the planet—even though she's, uh, how many years has it been now...🙄

Are you really sure about that? It doesn't seem likely to me... 😕

For that movie "Snake egg" featuring David Carradine—who was absolutely peaking back then after appearing in W. Hill's "The Long Riders"—Ingmar Bergman actually wanted Dustin Hoffman or Robert Redford. He sent them the script, but they turned him down...

In his memoirs, Ingmar Bergman describes how he first started working with Carradine. He took him to a local cinema to watch silent films about Nazi Germany, thinking it might help him "absorb the atmosphere of pre-war Berlin"...😁
Within just a few minutes, Carradine started snoring...!

The film ended up being panned by critics, and because of that, Bergman lost all the prestige he had built up with "Vickningar och Röp"...

Why though?
"I don't do sequels," he supposedly said...😁

So what was the point of having him show up in X2 then? 😕

heh, well, the goalposts always move, especially once you realize just how much those choices cost you in terms of your career...😁

Yeah, man, but back in the 80s when she was already well into her 30s, she was definitely in her prime. But have you seen her lately? She looks like someone's heavy-set aunt now.

There was a concert right here in the States so you could see for yourself—if not up close, then at least that her curves aren't exactly "sultry" anymore!🙂

I mean, maybe the guy was just trying to say he isn't interested in popping up in sequels to his own movies.

Actually, Brian Cox wasn't even part of the X-Men crew.

I actually caught her show in Copenhagen last year... please, don't make me relive those memories...!😉 Man, the way he sings...

I get that—but I still think CrowKing had a point.
