I was just catching up with a colleague. It got me thinking... when was the last time I actually sat through a race that was washed out from start to finish? A race where we started in the rain and just stayed in it for the entire duration?

Monza - Vettel - Red Bull Racing - 2008?

Between the rain, the floodlights, the barriers—and that inevitable Safety Car—is anyone actually going to win this without a massive stroke of luck?
Well, if those rain forecasts actually hold up, I'm putting my money on Lewis Hamilton.
That guy's got luck on his side, even if he's clearly lacking in the brains department. 😁

but wasn't the whole thing a wet one when Hemić crashed entering the pits in China? 😕

They did a solid job handing out those participation trophies and cheap medals 👍

I suppose they might just swap in a fresh engine without catching any extra penalties, right?🙂

As long as Alonso's engine doesn't blow up on him, we're good 🙂

Or maybe these used ones will somehow magically outperform the new stuff ☕

What actually happened with Jenson Button? Did he seriously smash his helmet into the wall during the pit stop, or what? 🤣 I was just scrolling on my phone and assumed he missed out on Q3 because of that, but now I see he finished fourth 🤣

Does anyone know what went down and who was involved?! 🤣 😬

Nice job, Fernando Alonso! Though, let's be real—he won't have anyone watching his back this time around. If he manages to jump out to an early lead, that win is his.
I don't really get why everyone was cheering in the McLaren pit lane. I guess they're just happy to be ahead of Mark Webber, since he's leading for now.
Then again, they might actually be fine with this qualifying order by the end of the day. Obviously, they're aiming higher than that.

The top five are holding down the first five spots on the grid. Pretty convenient. Hopefully, we actually see some actual fighting out there.
