Does anyone have a recommendation for a family doctor at the health center on Baruna Filipovića? Thanks!

Kate Morgan66 said:I haven't gone to a private clinic, but I was actually really happy with Šalat. The doctor was super kind and thorough; she didn't just try to rush me out the door to get to the next patient. 👍
The downside is you have to wait four months for an appointment...

Can I get the doctor's name?

I need to get my mother in for a neurology appointment because we’re both suspecting trigeminal neuralgia—so I’m feeling a bit lost on where to turn. Does anyone here have any firsthand experience with the neurologists over at the local neurocenter in Seattle, maybe at Medico, or even the General Hospital there? If anyone could offer a solid recommendation, it would be incredibly helpful.

If you're looking at the Suburban neighborhood area, I would absolutely suggest Dr. Davor Radić... He is truly thorough and someone you can really rely on.

I am not particularly satisfied with the orthopedists in Indianapolis, and since I am dealing with some serious issues in my knees, shoulders, and elbows, I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good specialists in Chicago? I am open to private practices as well.

Thanks—we actually traded a few emails recently and I was really hoping to snag an appointment with him, but turns out I'll be seeing Dr. Ranko Ostojić instead.

Is it Ranko or Rajko? 😒

J.
It's Rajko.

Honestly, my brain is turning to mush lately—can't even get my spelling or speech straight half the time.

Rajko.

Lately, I feel like my words are getting all tangled up, whether I'm typing them out or just trying to speak normally,

Hmm, maybe it might be worth checking in with a neurologist? 🤔

I mean, I’d consider it, but honestly, that’s the least of my worries right now—gotta get this liver situation under control first.

Look, they’re all decent doctors, but I’ve had such great results with Dr. Radić that I felt I had to recommend him to you. Good luck with everything. Cheers.

Hey everyone, so here’s the deal—since I’m a student and not actually originally from Chicago, my doctor suggested I move somewhere within the city limits since I’m basically living in Chicago 9 or 10 months out of the year anyway. Turns out my university doctor is pretty useless unless I just need a routine checkup or a quick excuse note... so I’ve got questions. Can I just sign up at any clinic in Chicago (though honestly, I want something super close to home), or am I stuck with whatever doctor is assigned to my specific neighborhood? Also, if you have any recommendations for a good doc, please let me know! I’m living on Klaić Street, so anything nearby would be ideal. 🙂

Hey there.

Does anyone have a dermatologist they’d actually recommend? I’ve got a few weird moles popping up on my body that I want checked out, and honestly, I just have this nagging gut feeling about one of them.

Thanks.

Wait—are we actually allowed to choose which doctor we see?

David Flores68 said:Is it actually possible to choose which doctor we see?

But why on earth shouldn't we be able to? I have personally decided to see an endocrinologist at Rib, specifically Tanja Škorić, who completed her specialization in Manchester before choosing to return home to America. At our local Vinogradski facility, they seem to rotate specialists out as frequently as a revolving door, and frankly, I am tired of the inconsistency. I have been receiving care there my entire life, and I am already forty-three years old!

One should start by visiting a general practitioner. If you have already been seeing a specialist but now wish to transfer to a different hospital, you really ought to emphasize this to them if you need a valid referral—especially if you are traveling from outside Washington, D.C. In truth, navigating the paperwork for a referral can be quite a headache, so it is often much simpler to just request the initial referral right from the start.

Simply find out the correct email address for scheduling appointments and attach your referral to the message. You just need to provide your full name, your mailing address, your contact information, and specify which physician you would prefer to see; truly, it is as simple as that.

I can only hope that Dr. Škorić will continue to accept me as a patient at Rib. Otherwise, this will simply become another endless cycle of wandering aimlessly from one frustration to the next, only to find ourselves back where we started. Regardless, I believe it is a pursuit well worth attempting.
