Andrew Robinson64, where's this clinic actually located—and what’s the doctor's name? I guess it doesn't matter much anyway.

It honestly looks like Andrew Robinson64 only showed up here to run a glorified advertisement for her own medical clinic.
It’s just pathetic. 👎

That's just cheap 👎

If I were actually here just to promote my own medical practice, why would I be asking for advice on a different one—maybe a cheaper option? I’ve visited this doctor a few times, and honestly, she’s perfectly fine. I wouldn't go so far as to say she’s terrible when she isn't. I don't really understand why I'm being attacked like this. Should we just attack everyone who happens to mention they have a doctor they like?

There's ECHO. I think they're pretty solid, and then there's Fenix too. As for Dr. Sanja Greguric Matesu, people say she's fantastic, though you might have to wait a while since her schedule is always packed.

Maybe try attacking everyone who happens to have a doctor they actually like instead?

Look, my bad 😘 , but it happens way too often around here where someone shows up acting like a newbie looking for a recommendation, only to turn around in the very next post and start praising their own business.
It’s just pathetic... if you want to advertise, just pay for the ad space or at least have the decency to admit you're promoting yourself.

Andrew Robinson64, come on, give us the full scoop—what are the treatments actually like? How long do they take, does it hurt, what kind of laser are we talking about, recovery time, how do you look afterward and all that?
Since you’re such a fan, maybe throw some details our way—just whatever you can remember. 😘

I’ve got a consultation coming up with my doctor soon, so I guess we'll see what they suggest.

crimsonhound28 said:Hey, Andrew Robinson64, could you give us more info on this? What are the treatments actually like? How long does everything take, and is there any pain involved? What kind of laser do they use, how long is the recovery period, and what does your skin look like afterward?
Since you’re giving it such a good review, could you share some details? Just anything you can remember. 😘

I have a consultation coming up soon with my dermatologist, so I'll see what they recommend for me.

Basically, you just call them up, schedule an appointment for two or three days out, and then show up. They enter your basic info into the computer, ask why you're visiting, and then suggest either a specific laser or whatever else is needed to fix the issue. In my case, I did the first treatment right after the consultation. You lie down on the table, they wipe off any makeup you might be wearing, check your skin, clear out any impurities, and then perform dermabrasion—it's this little device that moves across the skin; it feels a bit scratchy, but nothing intense. After that comes the laser. They apply a gel, have you put on protective goggles, and then move the laser over the skin. There’s a flash, a slight stinging sensation, and they repeat the process across the areas where you have acne. Once finished, they wipe off the gel, apply a soothing cream, and that’s it. Then you head over to the nurse or the receptionist to PAY😢 and set up your next appointment based on your schedule.
And you just repeat that process a few times. The sessions are spaced about a week apart. You can go back to wearing makeup normally right away, and there aren't any lasting side effects like scarring or anything—just some redness that lasts maybe thirty minutes, which is totally normal.
She explains everything thoroughly; you can honestly ask her anything at all.

So, I saw the official report 😘 but honestly—we’re all a bit sensitive about this stuff, aren't we? A lot of people just sell you a dream, and let's face it, the treatments are pricey.
Not to say I've heard rumors of bad reactions, too—some girl told me she broke out in acne after just two laser sessions, and I've heard other stories like that.
So, I guess it's actually useful that we share our experiences and tips here. 😉
See how Dr. Sterling isn't quite the legend they claim to be? Apparently, plenty of people are unhappy.
Anyway, I've got an initial consultation coming up with Dr. Miller soon, so we'll see what she thinks.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Miller for three years now, and I can tell you—this guy is top-tier. He’s incredibly gentle, which was my main reason for choosing him in the first place, and his rates are actually reasonable.🙂 🙂 🙂

And what exactly kind of remineralization pastes are they handing out there—and just how much volume are you actually getting for that kind of money? Honestly, one should be careful not to get fleeced; you can pick up a perfectly good tube of white Amine Fluoride at any local pharmacy for about thirty bucks or so.

Dr. Farkaš, located over at 11 Dubovačka Street in the Trešnjevka neighborhood—in my book, he’s easily one of the finest dentists in all of Chicago. He's incredibly ethical, a true professional, and his rates are remarkably reasonable. I can't recommend him enough.

I received a recommendation for a medical practice over in Chicago, near the West Side. It’s run by a mother and daughter duo, and they don't take insurance—it's strictly private pay. There's no waiting around either; you show up right when you're scheduled and you get to pick whatever appointment time works best for your schedule... Honestly, it sounds like a fantastic setup.
I believe the practitioner in question is Dr. Kushet.

Does anyone here have any firsthand experience with them?

Alright, I guess I’ll finally jump in and add my two cents to all these recommendations...
My top pick has gotta be Dr. Seifert’s practice over on 43 Main Street, where the Associate Professor works alongside a younger female doctor. Both of them are absolute pros, but let's be real—the Associate Professor is basically a legend when it comes to prosthetics in the US, plus he’s an adjunct professor at the local dental school. They’ve handled everything for me and my entire family over the years, and honestly, I don't even need to tell you how happy everyone was with the results. I actually just sent a colleague from work to see the younger doctor recently, and he told me it was easily one of his best moves; he walked away with a ton of specialized advice specifically regarding prosthetic work. A little pro-tip for anyone who absolutely can't stand pain: since the lady doctor is younger, she’s incredibly attentive and maybe just a tiny bit gentler than the old man🙏. Personally, though, I think the Associate Professor is phenomenal in that department too... I mean, the second I walk through those doors, I'm already looking for the anesthetic needle...🙂
One of the best things about their setup is that you can go there just to get a second opinion without being hit with a massive bill, because they don't charge for the initial exam. They just lay out exactly what needs to be done, and then the ball is in your court to decide if you want to stick with them or take your business elsewhere. As for the pricing, yeah, it’s not cheap, but it’s definitely not overpriced either; I’ve been to much more expensive places before. At the very least, once the exam is done, you can ask for a rough estimate and make an informed call. You’ll notice the difference between this office and the others the moment you step inside and talk to them; both the Associate Professor and the doctor are incredibly warm and welcoming. You won't feel awkward at all, and you can ask pretty much any question you want and they'll break it down for you (assuming it’s actually related to dentistry, obviously)....
The office number is... 01 / 4617-444

If you're looking for a high-quality private dentist, I highly recommend Fiziodent Clinic located near City Hall downtown.

You can find their number listed in any local directory.

They handled some of the most unpleasant procedures I could imagine with incredible composure and precision.
I truly recommend them.

Anthony Mitchell15 said:Dr. Stolar is my longtime dentist—and honestly, she’s become quite a friend over the years. 😁
She is fantastic; truly top-tier when it comes to handling any dental issues you might have. However, I see some people here treating ozone therapy like it’s some kind of miracle cure from outer space—but let's be realistic, shall we? Ozone only really works if the cavities aren't too massive or deep. If you catch things early, there's hope—really, there is. But if you wait too long? Well, then it’s back to the drill and standard fillings. The only real snag is the cost; the ozone treatments can get pretty pricey, and if you need it for just two or three teeth, you could easily find yourself looking at a thousand dollars out of pocket.
Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Stolar, though I've also heard good things about Dr. Stanic.

Dr. Stolar is fine, but personally, I think that Healozone stuff is a total bust. It didn't do a thing for me... I was dealing with constant inflammation and various issues, so for me, it’s a hard NO on the Healozone...

Can someone recommend a solid dentist in Chicago who takes Blue Cross Blue Shield? Does anyone know anything about Dr. Nadia Mihaljic? Has anyone been to her new office lately? Thanks.

Dr. Joseph Prpić is my absolute go-to
16 Reisner Avenue
210-244
He’s young, friendly, and doesn't mind fixing two teeth in a single visit. Plus, he doesn't hit you with extra fees for white fillings like some total jerks do. Highly recommended...

Honestly, Vesna Polak is my absolute favorite! She’s based over near Otis, and she is just phenomenal. My entire family relies on her for all our dental work—she's simply the best!

Thanks to you both! I think I'll head to the young and friendly guy; I'll probably feel way less anxious sitting in that chair.🙂

Karen Martin29 said:I’m jumping on the bandwagon here too—everyone’s asking for a solid dentist. Personally, I’d need someone out on the West Side—maybe near Lincoln Park or something—because let's be real, I know how I am... I'll probably show up for the first two appointments, but after that? If it isn't right around the corner, I’m just not gonna make the trip...
