Hello there. 🙂

I see Dr. Pršo has been suggested on this thread, but I’m wondering if anyone else might have recommendations? I really want to weigh all my options before making a move. To be honest, I’ve been quite disappointed with my current dentist—she isn't based in Seattle, so no worries there—and I’m looking for someone who actually knows what they're doing. I'll be getting my braces off soon, so I know I'm going to need a full overhaul: likely some restorative work, professional sandblasting, polishing, a deep scaling, and probably referrals for wisdom tooth extractions (they haven't even fully broken through yet, which makes things complicated 😁). Basically, I need a pro.

Thanks in advance for any insight you can provide!!!

I was wondering if anyone could help me out—I'm in urgent need of finding a new primary care physician here in Chicago, specifically somewhere located between Dubac and the downtown area!
Thanks so much!!

I just need to clear up two things....
Does choosing a primary care doctor depend on where you live?
(Like... if I'm living over in Remetinec, am I forced to pick a doctor from their specific local clinic?)
Anyway, I just moved to Chicago, coming from a tiny town where we didn't really have neighborhoods—just one big community center for the whole town and a lot of chaos. 🙂
If that's how it works... then can anyone recommend a good GP from the Remetinec clinic? I couldn't find anything online, maybe they aren't listed or I'm just looking in the wrong places. 🙂

Actually, no—where you live doesn't dictate which primary care doctor you pick. Your address only matters when it comes to which local Medicare branch you register with as a patient under your chosen physician.
For instance, you could live in Trešnjevka, but your doctor's office is way over in Central Park.
- You go to the doctor first and ask them to take you on as a patient. They'll give you a completed Physician Selection Form.
- Then, you have to head over to Jukić to get that form officially stamped by Medicare.
- Once you bring that signed form back to the doctor, you're officially their patient. They'll probably ask you to bring your medical records along too.

If you're living in Remetinec, the Medicare branch is right near the Police station.

Hi there,
I’m currently on the lookout for a new primary care physician.
I've been looking into Kruge Medical Center—if anyone knows a solid doctor over there, I’d really appreciate the recommendation!

Hi there,
I’m looking for some recommendations for a urologist in New York City—ideally someone who accepts Medicare... I’ve been dealing with some pretty complicated health issues that are starting to take a toll on my libido, and my current urologist doesn't seem interested in actually digging deep to find the root cause. He just wants to write a prescription for Viagra and call it a day... 🤣 (feel free to send any suggestions via PM)

Looking through this thread, I see there’s barely one response for every ten questions asked, but I have to try because they’ll shut this topic down if I attempt to start a new one. I am looking for a reliable private orthopedic specialist; I deal with significant fallen arches and several other foot issues. I previously saw a doctor on Petrova Street who told me $133 that he doesn't actually specialize in bunions and suggested I just head over to St. Spirit, book an appointment, and wait two months... I'd much rather find someone who actually knows what they're doing, perhaps someone who can design custom orthotics or at least walk me through some corrective exercises, here in New York City

Regarding those leg issues, I’d say you should probably see a physiatrist. I actually went over to Nemetov. The doctor there—she was pretty young—was awesome. I don't have my paperwork handy right now to check her name, but I think they don't have a ton of them there. If you really need me to find out, I can look into it for you. I noticed you mentioned exercises... yeah, I did therapy, and she actually showed me some moves and gave me copies and stuff like that
. As for a private orthopedist, try Trnje Medical Center. It’s right behind the police station at 44 Kruge. I went there on a recommendation. The lady is great. They made me some custom insoles after doing a really thorough exam, and I just paid for everything all at once $165.

Thanks, I honestly wasn't expecting such a fast or detailed reply. Yeah, I'll give Nemetov a shot; I've already gone there for my physicals. That orthopedist in Trnje is way too far for me, but maybe I'll make the trip since I'm running out of ideas. Today was the wake-up call that I really need to start taking care of my feet and knees. Thanks.

Dr. Verica Brozović Kisić.
I have been her patient for 20 years now and I couldn't be more satisfied.

Roger Allen5 said:So, what's the move then? You don't have to talk to him like you've got a broken leg! Just be real—tell him about your life, vent about your problems, stuff like that.
I mean, honestly, what's even the difference between a psychiatrist and an orthopedist?🙄

Look, Dr. Ivan Bojanić is absolutely the perfect specialist for your leg issues. Just... a word of caution! He’s quite the charmer, and honestly, he might try to flirt with every woman who walks through the door!

good luck! 😉

Hey everyone!
I'm looking for some solid recommendations for a primary care doctor and a dentist—ideally someone located right around the Borovje area, though I'm willing to travel a bit further if they're actually good (because let's be real, finding a decent doc is a nightmare)

Thanks a million!!!

Dear fellow forum members,

Does anyone happen to know where I can book an MRI privately to avoid the wait times?
It’s getting pretty urgent for me, and at the local hospitals... well, I guess we're looking at a three-month wait.

Yeah, I guess we're talking about the magnetic head and the neck area here.

It’s super urgent, but at the hospitals... man, we're looking at a 3-month wait minimum.

I know a spot for MRIs over at Sunce,$833 you can get seen right away. Good luck!

Can anyone recommend a primary care doctor who isn't stingy with referrals? Also looking for a dentist around Oranica, Spanish Hill, or Malešnica.
Just nothing private, please.
thanks

I need some help here!
I'm looking to get a full cardiology checkup for an elderly family member in Cleveland. My primary care doctor mentioned that if we go through Medicare, our only options are at Sušak or the Thalassotherapy center in Santa Monica. I've heard the wait times there are averaging 5-6 months—we just don't have that kind of time. Does anyone know which private clinics in Cleveland handle this and what the typical costs look like?
