I was just thinking about The Flaming Lips and Yo La Tengo, and honestly, everyone is staring at me. I’ve already gotten my roommates used to listening to The Shins and The Replacements, but this? This is a total culture shock for them.
Man, it’s just ridiculous. Honestly, aside from a few decent exceptions—you know, my actual friends—this whole city can't see past Thompson!🙂

Honestly, I realized almost immediately that I’d left out some pretty killer albums—Massive Attack, Jayhawks, Martin L. Gore... but hey, that's just how it goes whenever you start trying to list the "all-time greats," isn't it?
And Cave? Well... ahem... his album is actually quite solid; I have no idea why I "overlooked" him in the first place. 😉
