So, I just finished watching Event Horizon, and one scene absolutely stuck in my throat. It’s that moment where they play back the recording and realize the transmission isn't actually saying "Save me..." It's actually "Liberate a tu temet ex inferis"—which basically translates to "save yourselves from hell." Talk about a gut punch.

That scene has been haunting me for days. Every single time I glance into a dark corner, that word just flashes in my mind: "Liberate..." 🙄 🙂

We’re finally heading back inside around 1:00 AM... I go to flip on the hallway light, that memory hits me again, and I just lose it. I start screaming, "God dammit, Liberate, you absolute piece of—!" I throw my leg out, trip, and my hand goes flying straight through a pane of reinforced glass. My palm looks like it went through a heavy-duty cement mixer; it’s still a mess of jagged cuts and scars. 🙂

Look, let me put it this way: that movie is officially burned into my brain. I am absolutely NOT forgetting it anytime soon. 😁

Honestly, I can never remember the plot of any kids' movie I watch, except maybe "Where the Wild Things Are" or "Shrek."

Also, there's this one movie... I can't even recall the title properly😁—it’s something like "The Hunter" or "Prey," about some crazed war veteran.

Well, I suppose I wasn't exaggerating quite as much as I thought...🙄

Every single movie starring Julia Roberts... look, it’s not that I’m quite so mindless that I actually went to see all of them in theaters. I suppose I caught one of them at the local AMC once, but the rest I just watched on TV whenever I didn't have anything particularly meaningful to occupy my time... though I can't imagine who would even bother coming up with a title like this.

What a disaster of a movie.... For me, at least... Not only was it incredibly dull, but it felt like it dragged on for an eternity... or maybe that's just how it felt to me. Honestly, I have no clue what the plot was even about anymore. Plus, when I saw it in the theater, they completely forgot to dim the lights at the entrance 😵 and they stayed on the whole time.... haha, since the movie was such a snooze, we spent most of our time people-watching—just staring at folks who were actually mesmerized by the screen—or debating when they’d finally turn those lights off... hehe, thank goodness we didn't make any bets 😁
