So you're aware they're actually great bands. Unlike you.

I’m not really into Isengard or Storm... honestly, they just don't do much for me.

The Limbonic Art stuff isn't exactly top-tier quality, but it gets the job done.

My bad... Limbonic Art is top-tier stuff...

I don't know if I'd go along with that...

I don't think they're bad, per se, but in my opinion, they aren't exactly anything special...

Plus, everything except the guitars and vocals sounds pretty "artificial" to me.

Look, I honestly think those first two albums, 'Moon in the Scorpio' and 'In Abhorrence Dementia,' are absolute masterpieces of that specific style of black metal... Honestly, who cares if they used a drum machine? To me, that’s not even a drawback when it comes to this band...
What really sets Limbonic Art apart is their incredible keyboard work; it creates this unparalleled atmosphere, and once you layer Daemon's hellish vocals on top of that, the whole thing just hits perfectly for me...
I mean, seriously, go listen to "When Mind and Flesh Depart" and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about... though, hey, if it's not your vibe, it's not your vibe...
Personally, I'm more of a fan of their earlier stuff, even though their last couple of albums aren't bad either—even if they shifted toward a more old-school black metal sound where the keyboards are pushed more to the 'background'...
Besides, it's no small feat that most critics rave about them and their albums consistently pull high scores in reviews...
All in all, they're a perfect band...🙂

It’s funny how much we actually agree on certain bands 😁
If you haven't checked out 👍Mordor and Storm yet, you really should

Power, Heavy, Symphony (that guy who sounds like Rhapsody) and Black (though half the crowd would probably give him credit too)

Yeah, I'll give you that. Mordor is top-tier.

Blizzard Beast... look, just ignore that old post of mine about Cabbage Patch Kids and Darth Vader... that was just a passing phase where I was obsessively into that stuff. But when it comes to Black Sabbath—you know, the OG era—Satyricon, and Immortal, I’m still a die-hard fan.

Look, Storm is basically just clean Nordic folk with some metal touches—not the other way around. Honestly, I think ironfalcon18 put them in the wrong genre entirely; the Nordavind album I've got doesn't sound even remotely like black metal.

Yeah, man, I figured it was mostly folk, which is why I haven't even picked it up yet. 😁

Storm isn't exactly black metal, but I'd still put them in that category since it’s a Fenriz project—there really isn't anywhere else they fit. It's like how Wongraven isn't metal either, yet they still get pushed on metal sites.

I’d personally recommend checking out Summoning to everyone.

Melodic black metal at its finest. The vocals are pure black metal bliss. Every single one of their albums is incredible—I’m just missing one to complete my collection.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind if they went with some kind of melodic ambient black metal vibe...
I’ve listened to Lugburz, Minas Morgul, Dol Guldur, and Stronghold, and they’re all top-tier. The first Lugburz album feels a little unpolished in the performance department, but man, it’s still killer.
