How do you guys watch movies?

It has been an absolute eternity since I last stepped foot in a movie theater. Don't get me wrong—there is certainly something uniquely immersive about seeing a production on the big screen, but is it truly worth the headache? Personally, I find much more satisfaction in the quiet comfort of my own home. Why should I be forced to endure a room full of inconsiderate fools who can't stop pacing around, whispering incessantly, grinning like idiots, or chatting away? And don't even get me started on the constant, piercing ringtones from smartphones. 😠 🙂

Every time I stumble upon this thread, I totally misinterpret the vibe. My mind goes straight to: are you guys sitting on the couch, or the floor? Are you naked? Wearing a beanie and gloves but no socks? Just sitting there with a big bowl of chili in front of you?

Actually, that’s exactly how I watch movies—usually with someone else nearby. Not because I’m trying to be all romantic or anything, but just so I have someone to pester every three seconds. You know the drill: "Who is that guy?" "What's happening right now?" "Why did they do that?" "Where did they get that?" "Wait, didn't he die already?" That kind of thing.

Honestly, that’s how I watch movies. I love being in those various states of dress, usually with someone else nearby. It’s not even about being romantic; it’s just so I have someone to pester every three seconds with questions like: Who is that guy? What’s his deal? Why did he do that? Where did he get that? Why isn't this character dead yet? You know the drill.

I interpret it the exact same way. 😁 😁

For what it's worth, I almost always pass out fifteen minutes into a movie and only wake up when the credits start rolling 🙄 especially if I'm watching it with company. 🤣
