I think this is being misinterpreted.

Exhaust pressure—and flow for that matter—can't stay constant regardless of engine RPM. Those two values are directly proportional.

That’s exactly why rally cars use bang-bang anti-lag systems.

It seems pretty obvious they've tweaked the engine mapping so it can be
maybe not identical, but perhaps higher than usual, providing extra downforce at lower RPMs or while cornering 🙂
or maybe they just maintain a lower speed with higher RPMs through the turns to compensate.

But then again, much like Red Bull, that kind of setup is usually reserved for qualifying so the engine doesn't blow up prematurely, wouldn't you agree? 🤣🤣🤣

Hmm, yeah. So I assume those reports about a "special engine map allowing for constant exhaust pressure" are nowhere near the truth.

Michael Schumacher came out for the final stint on full wets😕. I guess he’s just playing it safe instead of switching to intermediates.....☕
