Man... Miami... just another race where Saturday will probably be more interesting than Sunday actually happens. ☕

And good grief, what an opening 🙏 three kilometers of English text... if you'd at least run it through a translator, we'd have something to laugh at, but even that's too much to ask. 😁

Joshua Newman2 said:Don't get mad, Kimi Raikkonen, but this is a textbook example of how not to open a thread: way too much text and it isn't even in English... I highly doubt anyone is actually going to slog through all of this, even if the idea of quoting statements from the key players is brilliant. If you had just picked two or three, it would have carried much more weight.

Regardless, I'm expecting a good nap during the race. If Blažičko were in charge, we'd be stuck listening to endless complaining about the America's Cup again, but luckily, since this guy is just a local working at JAR, the other managers should spare us the headache. I’m anticipating a comeback from Red Bull; in my view, they have a car that's simply too fast and drivers far too talented to let a third consecutive win slip away. A strong showing from Ferrari is also on the cards.

I'm holding out hope for a fifteen-minute downpour right after the start followed by the track drying out by the end—and, of course, a strong performance from Renault. It would also be wonderful to see Sauber pull themselves together and secure a decent result.

So, honestly, I’m fully expecting a repeat of those last two races🙏 when it comes to the podium, obviously.😁

Since this is my first time posting here, I decided to start this thread exactly the same way I do on other forums... though clearly, I’ve already encountered the first group of people who seem to have a problem with anyone writing more than a few words at a time... 😁Well, at least I know where to find a drink next time...😉

I honestly cannot wrap my head around why you decided to start this thread in English when this is an American forum!!! Assuming you are one of us, I am even more baffled as to why you aren't writing in our own melodic language instead of opting for that overly commercialized tongue used by tobacco marketing departments. I certainly am not one of those

Just let the guy live! Next time he'll just keep it short and write it in plain English so everyone stays happy instead of complaining.👍 Honestly, why are we even talking about this? Just shift your focus to race expectations and try predicting who actually has a shot at finishing behind those two McLarens.😁

McLaren and Virgin.☕

They’re still trailing behind. 😬🤣

The only way to save this Miami International Autodrome is if we get 3 or 4 Safety Cars... since there weren't any in Canada, we definitely need more chaos here 😁

@Kimi, didn't mean anything by it, was just a joke 😉

I don't really get how there isn't more overtaking here. You've got two long straights, two slightly shorter ones, and then heavy braking zones—are the corner exits just that messy that nobody can get anywhere near each other? 🤷

In theory, the whole track looks pretty interesting and exciting, but the actual race is 👎

One thing isn't adding up for me. In that first video showing Tim Glock's fastest lap, you can see he clocked a 1:38:532, yet they have him sitting in second place. That implies someone else actually went faster with a 1:38:464.

If someone else beat that time, how can we possibly call his lap the track record?

Am I missing something obvious here, or did I catch that correctly? 🤷

Looking at this track, if history is any indication, Red Bull shouldn't have much of an edge here.

After blowing it in Monaco and Canada—where they were actually running with the big boys—I wouldn't be surprised if Ferrari finds another gear.
I'm expecting a similar jump from Mercedes, too.

Now I'm just totally confused myself, because according to formula1.com, the record listed right under the video is 1:38.683 — T. Glock (2009).😕

Man, I don't know... personally, I think this is easily the most boring track on the entire calendar. But hey, since we've been seeing so many curveballs lately—like how we went without a Safety Car in Canada this year—maybe we’ll actually get a pleasant surprise for once.🙂😁

...Hey there, House fans! 👋

Good grief, I’m just sitting here waiting for James Wilson to finally make an appearance around here. 😁

@Kimi, please don't take it personally; I certainly didn't mean any harm. My reaction stemmed from the fact that we have an exceptionally well-informed group here—people who are already scouring all the major F1 news outlets anyway—so I figured a more concise approach might actually land better. Though, of course, I could be wrong there. Regardless, I appreciate the effort you put in. 🙏

I was just bingeing the end of season 7 of House 😁

So, apparently, Lisa becomes this doctor's mistress 😉

Which basically means anything can happen—even an exciting race in Valencia 🤣

But honestly, I have this crazy feeling that this total snooze-fest of a race might actually be the most thrilling one of the season 🤣

@TBF : Did you catch the end of season six? They’re just starting to film the seventh now (hopefully you saw those photos from the set)😁

..if the Miami International Autodrome turns out anything like those other two races, I definitely won't be complaining🙂🙂 🙂

Doesn't this site have a sub-forum dedicated to TV shows or something along those lines? 🤷 ☕
Check the rules: please stick to the specific topic so we don't end up handing out warnings.

Is there even a prayer that Bruno actually manages to FINISH a race for once? 🤣
I’m counting down the days🙂

Since tomorrow's a holiday, I'm actually expecting to finally put together a forecast that's at least on par with last season. 🤣
