So, I headed back to my dermatologist a few days ago for another skin assessment. This was actually my second time going in. To be honest, my acne situation isn't even that severe—I’m mostly just dealing with standard comedones, a mix of whiteheads and blackheads, and the occasional breakout. I’ve been managing it pretty effectively using Retin-A, Differin, and Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisturizer. However, after this second consultation, the doctor handed me a report mentioning "erythematous papules," which was news to me. Now that I’m looking closer in the mirror, I can see these shallow, tiny red marks that look a bit like scarring, so I'm assuming those are the papules she's talking about. 🤷 So, I'm curious—what's the best way to treat these?
