Basically, about 12 years ago—just for the hell of it—I set my handle to Nathan Reyes56 🤦 and it just stuck. So, after 4,380 days, I would really appreciate a name change if it isn't too much trouble. I realize this doesn't strictly follow the rules, but come on—cut me some slack here... hehehehe. If it is feasible, please update my nickname to deltroit

Such sweeping changes simply aren't permitted for very obvious reasons. While exceptions do exist, you don't fall under any of them.

You could always pick something else, like Shoemaker. Or Paper. Or something along those lines. 😁

It seems rules take precedence over common sense here—it’s apparently easier for a local municipality to change its name than it is for this forum to let someone update a nickname. It’s because of people like this that they flee to Ireland... just endless bureaucrats and red tape. Freedom to the people!

Rules exist for a reason. When you ignore them or act like they don't apply, all you've got left is anarchy.

Clones are permitted—in specific circumstances like yours—but I am asking you to please notify either the administration (Nice) or the moderators of your primary subforum that this handle is being retired. We need to avoid any "surprises" where you end up getting banned for using two different accounts on the same threads.
