That might actually fly if he didn't have such an obnoxious username. Sure, his post count is low, but since he’s been popping up here and there during the Easter holidays, it doesn't make any sense to strip him of his handle.

Is there any way I can swap my handle from Visionary S. to either Ordinary or Nar? Or honestly, just anything else that isn't Visionary S. Also—if it’s even possible—could you guys just wipe the Visionary S. account entirely?

The only edits we’ll permit are minor tweaks to capitalization or slight adjustments that don't fundamentally alter the identity of your username. It is vital that your handle remains recognizable.
For instance: Tika becoming tika or tikica.

Please refrain from cluttering the boards with requests like, "I don't like my username, can you change it to something else?" That is unhelpful. Instead, provide one—and only one—concrete suggestion that adheres to the rules outlined above.

So, if it’s possible, maybe go with Vision, Vasion, or Vasiona. Honestly, it's kind of a pain that we can't just change our handles ourselves like you can on pretty much any other forum out there. I actually ended up registering twice once because I had no clue a nickname change was even an option.

But yeah, if it can be done, let's do it. Technology-wise, I'm pretty much a total dinosaur.

Hello 👍 I was wondering if it might be possible, if it isn't too much trouble, to have my username changed from favorit year to favorit... It seems a bit redundant to keep the year attached when everyone on the forum just refers to me as favorit anyway... I did notice there is already an existing favorit registered here, but their last post was way back in 2009—they only have seven posts total—so I don't imagine it would cause any real conflict or issues with the system...

That request actually caught my eye. Changing a username is quite simple—you're essentially sticking with the same profile, just under a different label.

If you’re looking for a clean slate, then log out of this account and register a brand-new one. Just make sure to give the moderators on your respective subforums a heads-up that you've started fresh and won't be using the old profile anymore.

However, if you aren't interested in starting over and just want the name change (which is why this thread exists), then please just decide on which new handle you want. Pick one single name.

Man, you totally missed the point, Dub. Way back when I first signed up as Visionary S, I had no clue you could actually change your handle. So I ended up making a whole new account as Visionary S, and now I’m just sitting here stuck with these "Visionary" and "Visionar" nicknames that honestly just grate on my nerves—mostly because my actual life goals and these names haven't exactly shaken hands yet. I’d really love to swap out this Visionary S one instead of the other. Is that even doable? Or, if things are too messy, can we just wipe both accounts clean so I can start over with something else entirely? Honestly, I'm pretty much a tech dinosaur when it comes to this stuff.
