I actually have an old, inactive profile under the name Mark Walker3 that's been restricted—meaning I can't even post. It's totally useless since it has zero posts and doesn't work anyway.

Actually, no—you can't use special characters when changing it.

Honestly, the current "zero one" thing feels a bit too... I don't know, mathematical? A little too much like a serial number or some computer code...
I think the new name would still be totally recognizable—it’s basically just swapping out the zero for the letter F.
And I'm sure everyone else here will get used to it pretty fast.😉
