Stoffel is the reserve driver, so why wouldn't he be in? There’s zero reason to leave him out.

Back when those three were running the Mercedes, there wasn't any real progress—they were sitting 4th, 4th, 5th in the standings, basically sliding backward every single year. The first year they brought in Wolff and Lewis, they jumped straight to second place, and then eventually became champions—though, let's be real, they didn't turn it all around in just one season.
Obviously, they probably hit their peak dominance this year because I'm guessing Brawn developed the foundation seven years ago and they finally cracked the code now. 🤣🤣🤣

Of course, anything less than second place feels like a failure—especially since the narrative is that 90% of the grid should be able to win in this car (just look at what Sainz has been saying)

Honestly, I think this race by Russell might actually hurt Hamilton more than it hurts Valtteri Bottas. Look, we all know Bottas isn't exactly at his peak anymore, but now it's blindingly obvious how easy it is for Hamilton to look like a record-breaker when he's sitting in a car like this.

I’m genuinely thrilled for Perez; he truly earned this after everything he’s dealt with this season. Such a shame for Russell, but hey, when one door closes, another opens... his future looks bright.
