Like, can we please just ignore the fact that they pulled Sebastian Vettel into the pits with basically 15 minutes left in Free Practice 3, only to swap in that second engine—you know, the absolute dud they've been lugging around all season—just an hour before qualifying starts?

Sebastian Vettel claims he just botched the middle sector and insists his exit had nothing to do with the engine.

-The cherry tree represents everyone who thinks differently.
-Voluntarily moving ten feet to the left means accepting an explanation.
-Twenty years is the timeframe where absolutely nothing changes.

It would make more sense to say:
-The tree can't be moved; Mother Nature made it that way, defying all belief.😁
-Moving left, or in any direction you want, is clearly an illusion—even to someone with bad eyesight.🤔
I mean, when has anyone actually seen a tree move, unless we're talking about Lord of the Rings?🤷
-Twenty years is the window of time during which nothing will change.

If people could just wait until Sunday, then if the results look like they did in Free Practice 1 or Free Practice 2, they can vent all they want.
Right now, this feels more like someone just grasping at straws.

That's already way too much...
you earned a break 👍

Honestly, thank god the car was just as much of a disaster, otherwise they wouldn't have trashed the tires so fast...
The only real shame is that Mattia Binotto wasn't a complete failure himself, so we could finally see him degrade too 🙂

That guy is just straight-up incompetent. It’d be hard to find that level of uselessness anywhere else in the States 🤦
I’ve got a feeling if anyone handed Microsoft over to him, he’d bankrupt the whole company within a year...

I think you hit the nail on the head there. It isn't just that Vettel is a dud; it seems like the engine is a dud, the aerodynamics are a dud, the pit wall is a dud, the strategy is a dud, and well, Binotto being a dud just goes without saying.

And I suppose none of that would actually be such a massive issue if Leclerc were also a dud.

But he isn't.😁 I guess Mali is just driving brilliantly despite having a teammate who is mentally checked out, despite being surrounded by a whole bunch of incompetent fools, and even though he's stuck in such a junk heap of a car.👍

I mean, the guy is legendary for messing things up, so honestly, his excuse actually kind of tracks.

Will you all please just leave Vettel alone!

Seriously, did anyone catch Leclerc's last lap? That kid is absolutely insane, the way he handles that car.

I actually told him myself that he couldn't have done any better than that lap, so maybe that's why he ended up getting out of the car. It’s a bit of a shame because I suspect he might get overtaken quite easily tomorrow, so I suppose the gap between him and Vettel could end up being about three or four spots. If you look at the driver-to-car ratio, I think Leclerc definitely drove the most impressive lap today. As for tomorrow's race, I feel like Bottas should be able to win without much trouble, though I guess his start might be an issue since his starts during the last two races were pretty rough. A lot is probably going to depend on the pit crew too, because since the track will likely be crowded at any given moment, I imagine if they stay in the pits just two or three seconds longer than usual, you'd lose way more positions than normal.

What do you mean Bottas? Max is going to cruise to a victory tomorrow (unless those soft tires completely fall apart during the first stint).

Regarding Leclerc, that was definitely his best lap of the season so far.

He isn't some influencer who could win a championship even in a Williams Racing. 😁 😁

Exactly. That’s my point all along: Ferrari has been riding Vettel like a tired workhorse, yet he handles it like a gentleman because he's honoring his contract until the end.

I honestly don't get what idiots are running Ferrari. Every single damn point matters when you're fighting for the prize money.

It isn't a matter of lacking cash, but their wind tunnel is far more valuable.

Exactly. Not because he had no tires left for a fast lap.

He should have stayed out on those last remaining hard tires and delivered an even faster lap.

In that case, he wouldn't just be an alien; he would be from another galaxy entirely.

🤣 🤣 🤣

Look, I have a soft spot for Alonso and all, but honestly, I think Lewis is just a bit more my style. I'm really looking forward to seeing him grab that eighth title and absolutely shatter every single record out there. 😁

If anyone is actually going to be in need of help, I'd say it’ll probably be you next year when the Stroll family starts acting out against Vettel. 😛

Good grief, where do you even get this much hate?!

You must be a seriously miserable person deep down, huh?

Did you have a rough childhood or something?

Today, the driver is arrogantly opting for a counter-strategy against Mercedes, and I am actually hoping it pays off with a win.

I also hope Leclerc doesn't get too aggressive right at the start and disrupt the Ferrari efforts🙂; honestly, he’s better off settling into 7th, 8th, or 9th place immediately. I highly doubt he can achieve anything better than that, and it would simply bring the race to a close.

1.Max
2.Max 2. Russell
Bottas DNF
3.Perez
4.Sainz
5.Perez 4. Sainz 5. Riccia**rd**o

Etc.

I'm with you on that one. He pulled off a masterclass of a lap—honestly, it doesn't get any better than that. Probably why they didn't even bother bringing him back out.

If he doesn't assert himself right from the start, things could get even worse than they were in Turkey.
The current situation isn't helping him at all, though I suppose that doesn't mean much.

I mean, if my dad had actually bought me a Formula 1 team just so I could drive, I doubt even someone like Ayrton Senna would have been able to push me around as a second driver, let alone some guy like Sebastian Vettel.

Thinking the Walton family bought a team just for young Stroll to drive is a complete delusion.

The elder Stroll bought the team for himself. He’s the one living out unfulfilled dreams through his kid.

Young Stroll is basically just there to satisfy his father's twisted ego.

Nobody ever actually asked young Stroll if he even wanted to be a driver—his dad just made the call for him.

If Formula 1 was actually young Stroll's dream instead of his father's, there isn't a God alive who could force the old man to drop a single cent on his son's career.

So yeah, Aston Martin is just a toy for the father, and young Stroll is just there to fix his old man's complexes.

And that's exactly why having a top-tier first driver matters so much to the elder Stroll—he cares about the team's overall standings.

Deep down, he knows his son just doesn't have the talent.

Well, you've certainly piqued my interest now!

It seems to me the old man has a fetish for Ferrari, rather than a true love for Formula 1 itself.

Their real surname might have been something else entirely before they rebranded to Stroll—perhaps they have Jewish roots, and maybe even a distant ancestor from our neck of the woods!

And here are his mother and sister.

They certainly aren't bad looking, I must say! 🍿

Intrigued by what exactly?!

By the fact that guys like Lance Stroll, Nicholas Latifi, Max Verstappen, Lando Norris, Carlos Sainz, and the rest were probably never even asked if they actually wanted to be drivers. This whole "dream" is forced on them before they can even tie their own shoes. We're talking kids starting go-karts at 5 or 6 years old—no way a toddler is making career decisions, right? It’s just their dads' ambitions being shoved down their throats.

Now, the older generation—think Niki Lauda, Nelson Piquet, etc.—who didn't start until they were 14 or 15? You can bet that was their choice.

But these modern drivers? They're basically just there to fix their fathers' ego issues.

Even the successful ones, like Carlos Sainz for example.

We’ve known for ages that math isn't exactly your strong suit, but honestly, it’s wild how blind you people can be. 🤦

Fernando Alonso burned through every single new tire except the hards...
So why on earth would you try to set a fast lap on hards?
It was clearly nonsense to those Sky pundits and the crowd following them instead of using their own eyes and brains... but for anyone actually capable of thinking for themselves, it wasn't. ☕

Anyway, I expect Charles Leclerc to finish somewhere near Sebastian Vettel, if not behind him...
That one lap was fantastic, but everything leading up to it sucked, and his strategy was pure stupidity, regardless of what anyone says...
Because trashing every single tire set might make sense in Monaco, but certainly not here. ☕
