You can always do it "manually" if you're feeling particularly masochistic.
AltGr + F = [
AltGr + G = ]

Thanks,

[QUOTE]At the start, you type:
[quote.] (without the period)
And at the end, you wrap it up with:
[/quote.](without the period)

Dammit.[/QUOTE]

Gregory Ramirez2 said:Thanks! I'll give that a shot. Quick question though—how do you do those multi-quotes for long posts?

Sometimes you just want to jump in and respond to specific parts of a post personally, right? I bet you feel the same way!

I'm trying to figure out how to quote things like in this post here: http://www.example-us-forum.com/showpost.php?p=5...&postcount=568

Just testing this thing out.

Kevin Newman3 said:Gregory Ramirez2....I felt the same struggle, honestly. Let me try to break this down for you.....if you want to split up a single post to reply to it bit by bit, just use a standard quote block. You basically divide the text by sandwiching the specific part you're addressing between two markers...for example Gregory Ramirez2
[/I]

Still testing this thing out.

I’m gonna need a massive milkshake just to process what you just wrote. I am completely lost. 😵

Look, I get certain pieces of this, but I just can't wrap my head around how they actually fit together into one logical picture. 🤷
Alright, let's see what happens...

Once you've tagged them all, just click the regular Quote button on that final post. Everything should automatically wrap itself in those quote tags, giving you the freedom to clean up any fluff, bold the parts that actually matter, or slide your own commentary in between the blocks of text. It's pretty straightforward, really.

for all those posts you want to include except for the very last one... then just tap the regular Quote button on the final post you need. It’ll automatically wrap all those messages in Quote tags for you, and from there, you can just move things around, delete whatever isn't needed, bold the important parts, or drop your own thoughts in between the quotes... it makes it much easier...

The system wraps every single one of those posts in its own quote tags automatically. From there, you have full control; you can strip out the fluff, bold the parts that actually matter, or wedge your own commentary in between the snippets.

supposedly works
