No, all five. I don't really get worked up about it. It just bothers me when someone is asked why they dislike something, or why they find it offensive, or why they feel threatened by it, and they just respond with, "I don't know, I just hate it, it's gross, that's just my opinion, I have a right to it"... blah blah blah. Just tell me WHY, for heaven's sake.
People constantly hide behind this supposed "right" to an opinion, but whether that opinion actually comes from any real thought... I guess that’s rarely the case. It’s just people tossing around empty cliches and judging anything that doesn't fit their narrow little rules.
My apologies, this is getting off topic... Ashman.
How does one even answer questions like that? How do you respond to "why do you feel that way?" To me, a question that stupid doesn't even deserve an actual response.
Why are you trying to police everyone? I guess you think you're in charge, but who exactly are you to demand an apology from anyone? Maybe I just feel like having a right to say when something bothers me.

Is it really that hard to watch a mother feed her child? I guess you feel the need to broadcast that to everyone. Maybe just keep those kinds of insights for a private session at a therapist's office instead.

Look, let's just be logical here. I guess it's hard to see what anyone would actually find problematic about this.
What kids eat these days? It's madness, I guess.
A few square centimeters of cleavage? Please. That’s just asking for trouble. Everywhere you look—billboards, newsstands, TV, even just walking down the street or hitting a beach club—it’s all much more explicit than that. Most people are showing way more than a tiny bit of skin these days.
A combination? Also, don't be an idiot. It’s just a perfectly natural mechanism and action that breasts were made for, regardless of what anyone thinks they exist for. Precious x
Maybe try getting some education, therapy, or just some actual life experience. Precious x
I guess you might need to apply for a permit here. Maybe.
I don't post much here, but certain headlines catch my eye. That whole "public breastfeeding" debate was everywhere in the news. And like I said before, that "public" includes all of us. So if people here are trying to convince me that I have some moral obligation to look away or squint while walking down the street, then I guess this topic does actually concern me, just like everyone else.
As for the whole pet situation, just go for it. I like dogs, and I’ve seen people talk about this stuff before. I think there were threads on Reddit and some old online forums too, but honestly, it was mostly just a bunch of negativity.
I haven't insulted anyone here, so you don't get to come at me either. If you want to play psychologist, go find someone else to lecture.
I don't know how to put this... It doesn't bother me seeing it happen in passing. I don't think it looks bad or anything. It’s just this strange sensation that comes from a woman sitting right there at the table, talking to me. Not because it’s repulsive or whatever, but it just feels... too intimate. I guess I can't explain it any better, but I'm sure others who aren't used to it feel the same way. It isn't about being "anti-breastfeeding" or "not understanding that a baby needs to eat." It's just that they aren't accustomed to it. That's why I insisted on the fact that this is all pretty new to us.

She seems to have some intimacy issues, Precious x.
You just don't get it... I don't care if nothing is visible. I have no issue with seeing a nipple or an entire breast; I don't view that as immoral. It doesn't change my point that since it's natural, it could happen anywhere. I guess it's hard to define what exactly is unnatural and therefore requires privacy at home. I don't have any particular thoughts or feelings about nipples, either.
The act itself feels too intimate. Almost too much to even be present for, I guess.
If you aren't bothered by seeing a nipple or an entire breast—since you claim you have no issues with it—then I guess I have to ask: what exactly counts as "too intimate"? Is it just the fact that a baby is eating? It’s a natural process for such a little one. I don't see how someone watching a child eat could possibly find that intimate.
This is a perfect example of someone blindly defending a position without offering a single shred of actual logic—stuff that could be dismantled in ten seconds. I guess.
Keep going, please. This is actually pretty entertaining. Ashman
Why am I even bothering to tell breastfeeding moms this? I guess it’s just because I’ve seen how aggressively you all attack anyone who happens to be on the "other side" here.
I tried explaining the reasoning behind it. What I said about myself applies to plenty of others, too. But no, you all seem determined to just be negative toward those people.
Like I mentioned, I saw a segment on TV about this, and since there was so much coverage in the news lately, I figured I’d share my perspective. Why not? I didn't expect to get attacked like this.
Am I supposed to pretend I don't have the right to say when something bothers me? Alex Barnes8
I don't know why you're being so aggressive and worked up.
If something like breastfeeding disturbs you, maybe you aren't quite seeing the bigger picture. A mother who decides to nurse her child on a park bench or at a restaurant table probably has a good reason to FEED her baby. That reason might just be hunger, I guess.
Very young children don't really grasp it when you tell them they have to wait another thirty minutes until they get home to eat. They get restless, they start crying, and there's no point in making it harder. If moving a few inches of clothing to feed a hungry child for a couple of minutes stops an unpleasant situation, then that's what happens. Toddlers don't understand discipline or waiting.
I don't see why I should have some major life issue just because I feel uncomfortable with what I just described.
I'm not trying to psychoanalyze you, but I honestly think the shock you felt from seeing a woman nursing—which you emphasized in your earlier posts—might stem from some strange circumstances in how you were raised.
Or maybe you just exaggerated the whole "shock" thing to make a point because you lacked better arguments.
Just a reminder: you're participating in a discussion on Reddit. So, acting like "who am I to correct you?" or "who are you to lecture me?" is pretty ridiculous, honestly.
Why?
Because this is a Reddit thread that you chose to join to share your reasons and opinions. You're protesting the very thing you decided to participate in. Ashman
EXCUSE ME?!
Do you even see the difference between asking a question and lecturing someone? Between expressing an opinion and forcing one on others?
You were the one who attacked me first, just because of how I feel. Sorry, but I don't know any communication more aggressive than that.
And why should I spend my whole day overthinking why something bothers me? As if being bothered means I'm crazy. Or like I need to run to a psychiatrist immediately to fix it so I can live a blissful life where nothing ever bugs me.
You say when people ask why something bothers them, they just answer, "I don't know, it just does." And you're surprised by that? I guess that surprise is actually kind of stupid. I don't know what answers you're expecting. Are we all supposed to rush to a therapist and submit a report to you?!
It seems, again, you're getting aggressive.
And I think you need to be reminded that this is Reddit, a place for discussion.
I was just expressing my opinion and feelings, but you attacked me with "by what right?" Alex Barnes8

EXCUSE ME?! ..... and then all that aggressive stuff...
Honey, maybe just calm down for a second.
I wasn't the first one to address you or attack you.
You felt called out and reacted to my post.
You don't ever have to overthink anything.
Maybe you just don't have the capacity for nuanced thought right now, since you're aggressively pushing your view through sheer idealism. It seems you have the capacity for attacks and aggression, which usually goes hand-in-hand with a lack of reflection. You're likely young, so I get it. Try to calm down and reread the posts in this thread.
I have nothing against you, so let's not fight. Ashman
Then why is there even a topic open for discussion regarding public breastfeeding? They should just close it so nobody is allowed to have an opinion.
Come on, you're overreacting. Is anyone actually out there attacking a breastfeeding mother just for doing that? Or making threats or anything like that...
And what, now a person isn't even allowed to feel uncomfortable? Seriously. If someone said they didn't care, I guess someone else would just jump in to tell them they aren't even allowed to be indifferent, Manch
