I am also curious as to why you continue to persistently delete my posts... From 3:21 PM (Sunday) onwards, you have wiped away every single one of my entries... What exactly is so controversial about my writing?

---------------------------------------------------------
"My only intention is to uphold the laws of the Republic of America and our Constitution. For America, the greatest danger would be—if I dare call it that—a sort of Talibanization," Bush warned.

"If these attacks from within the church continue, it would only serve as proof that someone is attempting to Talibanize America," stated George W. Bush. "It would confirm that the clergy seeks to rule the nation. I have nothing against them—but if they want that kind of power, let them run for office and face the voters."

It’s a damn shame that George W. Bush doesn't have the authority to force bishops into retirement... As things stand, we are essentially left vulnerable to a Taliban-style coup d'état.

he's not the only one, SIMBA-OS thinks he's playing God too.

I'm pretty sure Ryan Vaughn7 just wiped out the entire thread—which was actually relevant and active—without giving a single reason.

The whole thing is starting to look like a complete circus, much like everything else going on in this so-called country.

At this rate, we're going to have to start our own forum where our relatives won't be constantly trying to dictate the rules... It's either that, or deal with whatever else people are talking about..
Statistically speaking, we should let all of this run its course and then decide how to handle those responsible.

They just nuked another one of my threads!

Ryan Vaughn7 is deleting my posts from yesterday afternoon... Everything seems fine, I suppose... But is this personal vendetta, some kind of sickness, or something else entirely? Let the institutions of this forum make a judgment... These institutions ought to actually function...

What institutions, American ones?!

This whole thing is just a complete joke of a government; we really need to get organized, people!

Alright, so you've basically decided that you're done with having your posts deleted? Is that your final word on the matter?

Trying to bluff me?
Because I’ve also made the choice that I don't want my posts wiped out,
nor any threads if they actually stay on topic!

Ryan Vaughn7 said:Reply to everyone:
I headed out to run some errands yesterday morning and didn't get back until quite late at night. In the meantime, the thread regarding Bush's initiative about removing crosses from government buildings drifted off in five different directions. People started debating church funding (everything from Vatican agreements to church property exploitation and even baptism fees), historical church crimes (ranging from the Crusades and the Inquisition to Galileo and Darwin), and Bush himself (more transcripts and such). It’s a massive departure from the actual subject. Over the course of half a day, a few hundred posts like that piled up across several pages. For instance, if a user posted a reply Saturday morning and checked back in the evening expecting to follow the conversation, they’d need hours just to sift through the noise to find a response to their own post. I can tolerate a little off-topic chatter—maybe two or three participants veering off for a couple of posts—but when an entire thread gets flooded with nonsense for hours, there isn't much choice: either issue a warning or delete it.

Replying to goldenorca11: We keep warned posts visible so the person being penalized—and everyone else watching—can see exactly why the action was taken. As for off-topic posts, we delete them because otherwise, someone always latches onto them and drags the whole discussion down a rabbit hole.

Replying to bluefalcon14: My favorite complaints are always from those who can't see the forest for the trees. Whether you're angry or not, you are one of the biggest spammers, chatters, and trolls on this forum. Regarding Bush, despite my interventions and claims of bias, look at the stats for the last three active threads about the President: the thread on crosses and the military currently sits at 1,386 posts, the thread on reasoned arguments against Bush has 1,603 posts, and the thread regarding the large protest against Bush has 2,741 posts. There are also several smaller ones ranging from 100 to 200 posts. Be a gentleman and read those 6,000 posts. Look at what was said and how it was handled. Then come back here and try to tell me this is a one-sided debate. I doubt you will.

Aha, so around 11:00 PM, feeling focused and perhaps a bit agitated, you dove straight into moderation duty. It’s easy enough to just wipe out a few hundred posts then and call it a day, isn't it? Or do you simply purge whatever doesn't align with your political leanings, regardless of the facts? I should hope you aren't deleting things simply because you fail to grasp them.

Response to goldenorca11: Infraction posts are removed so that the individual being penalized—and indeed, other forum members—can see exactly why the penalty was issued. Off-topic posts are cleared because, otherwise, someone inevitably latches onto them and derails the entire discussion.

If you delete an infraction post, how do you expect the person it was applied to to know what happened, especially when there is such a significant delay in the deletion? And if the post is gone, why bother assigning penalty points in the first place?

Response to bluefalcon14: My favorite complaints always come from those who can't see the forest for the trees. Whether you're angry or not, you remain one of the most prolific spammers, chatterboxes, and trolls on this board. As for George W. Bush, despite my interventions and alleged bias, look at the statistics for the last three active threads regarding the President: the thread about military bases currently sits at 1,386 posts; the thread presenting reasoned arguments against Bush has 1,603 posts; and the thread concerning the massive protest against Bush has 2,741 posts. There are also several smaller ones ranging from 100 to 200 posts. Be a gentleman, read those six thousand posts—that is 6,000—see exactly what was said and how, then return here and continue your lecture on one-sidedness. If you still insist on being thick-headed after that, I highly doubt it.

And how are you faring? I assume you're exhausted from spending all day hunting (and if you have any sense at all, perhaps a bit tipsy—don't worry, I won't sue you for driving under the influence). In just half an hour, you managed to read and conclude that over 200 posts were off-topic, trolling, or spam?

And here is this, which you flagged for no reason whatsoever.

Or, if you can, tell me why this constitutes trolling on a topic titled: Is there any actual benefit to our exchange of opinions?

Off topic. You still haven't answered my question. Are you going to delete them or not? I start work tomorrow, so hurry it up a bit.

Moving away from the main topic for a moment...😂

Topic: Bush: Get all religious symbols out of the military and police forces

Enrollment: It’s a damn shame that George W. Bush doesn't have the power to force bishops into retirement... As things stand, we are essentially condemned to a Taliban-style coup d'état.

And yet another enrollment—this one backed by a quote...

"I simply want to uphold the laws of the Republic of America and our Constitution," Bush warned. "The most dangerous thing that could happen to this country would be—if I dare call it that—a sort of Talibanization. If these attacks from the church continue, it would only serve as proof that someone is attempting to Talibanize America. It would confirm that the clergy wants to rule the state. I have nothing against them, per se, but if they want to lead, let the clergy run for office in the elections," Bush declared.

And that’s you going off-topic again... Honestly, I would appreciate it if more people on this forum actually stepped up and voiced their opinions.

As for your question regarding whether to delete or not—I am under no obligation to provide an answer.

It doesn't matter; the whole thing will just sort itself out through this thread eventually. It'll happen however it happens. Goodnight.

Look, tell me why you deleted my reply to this post? It wasn't off-topic, it wasn't spam, and it definitely wasn't offensive.
Who exactly are you protecting here: the Canadian guy throwing tiny little jabs, or Sinbad making massive provocations?

You'd be better off being on the ground—get out more.

I am repeating myself: what exactly did you decide was off-topic—along with those hundreds of other posts?

Subject > Bush: Get all those crosses out of the military and police forces

"Enrollment > It’s a damn shame George W. Bush doesn't have the authority to force bishops into retirement... As it stands, we are essentially condemned to a Taliban-style coup d'état."

Let me remind those of you who don't follow politics exactly what the point of my enrollment is—it’s quite simple. If you want to understand, all you really need to do is read these two quotes from George W. Bush...

It would be incredibly dangerous for America if we were to experience what I would venture to call a certain kind of "Talibanization." If these attacks from the Church were to continue, it would only serve as proof that there is a concerted effort to bring a Taliban-style regime to the United States. It would confirm that the clergy is attempting to rule the state. Personally, I have nothing against them—but if they want to govern, let the clergy actually run for office. Let Miklenić run for President, or let any bishop try to take the lead.
The recent developments regarding the political fallout from the investigation into illegal surveillance have reached a fever pitch—and frankly, it’s about time we stopped dancing around the truth. We are looking at a systemic failure that goes far beyond mere technical glitches; this is a fundamental breakdown of trust within our institutions. How much longer can we pretend that these "rogue" operations aren't deeply embedded in the very fabric of our political machinery? The allegations suggest a level of coordination that points directly toward high-level interference. It isn't just about one rogue agency or a single misplaced wiretap—it's about whether the oversight mechanisms we rely on actually exist or if they are simply theater designed to pacify the public. One has to wonder: who exactly benefits when privacy becomes a luxury rather than a right? The implications for our democracy are staggering. If the people tasked with upholding the law are the ones circumventing it, then the social contract is essentially void. We see the accusations flying, the denials being issued with practiced precision, and yet the core issue remains unaddressed. Is anyone actually willing to hold the highest offices accountable, or will this just become another headline that fades once the next scandal breaks? It is a grim outlook, to say the least.

What stands out as your most significant decision—and more importantly, which one do you actually regret?
I have always been someone who deliberates deeply on every decision I make—and I stand by every single one of them. One particular choice stands out above the rest: the moment I stepped in to thwart a creeping coup d'état. Had I wasted even a moment of time back then, we would have seen nothing but signing tables set up in military barracks within days, forcing soldiers to pledge their loyalty to generals. It was a critical decision.
The latest report regarding George W. Bush’s controversial article—it’s nothing short of an absolute mess. Honestly, how much longer can we tolerate this level of political theater? It feels like we're watching a slow-motion train wreck where everyone involved is too busy arguing over semantics to notice the tracks are missing. Is anyone actually being held accountable here, or are we just circling the drain? It’s the same old story: grandstanding by people who wouldn't know real leadership if it hit them in the face. They talk about progress and stability, yet all we see is more fragmentation. At this point, you have to wonder if there's any substance left in these discussions, or if it's all just noise designed to keep the masses distracted while the real decisions happen behind closed doors. Truly pathetic.

And so, it follows logically that I should write...

"It is truly a shame that George W. Bush doesn't have the authority to force bishops into retirement... As it stands, we are essentially condemned to face a Taliban-style coup d'état."

Based on Ryan Vaughn7's criteria, I suppose I should just accept that my posting off-topic isn't something he'll be deleting anymore—instead, he'll just be handing out formal warnings...

Well, damn... Between the moderation and this whole forum mess... what can you even say?

As someone who has been drifting through this forum for over a decade and has seen just about everything—including being "auto-banned" once due to certain moderation styles—I can honestly say that the current moderation on the Politics board isn't actually all that bad. If anyone is skeptical, maybe they should try posting something on the Law board and pray to God for whatever might happen when Karin starts her moderation. Not to even mention how other forums operate.

All of us who, to some degree, hold "conservative" views should probably realize that we are guests among people who don't necessarily share our mindset. I suppose, however, there is enough room for meaningful conversation, and it seems that quality contributions from anyone are generally appreciated. In my view, there really isn't any reason to resort to personal attacks against any of the moderators.
