Fortune favors the bold, right? Look, I’m not exactly his biggest fan, but you have to hand it to him—that was some seriously smart, solid driving today. A hell of a lot better than what most of these guys are pulling off lately.☕

If anyone deserves a break, it’s Button and Barrichello.☕

Brawn GP is so dominant it’s actually ridiculous. And yet, they still managed to nearly blow the whole thing. Neither of them had a lick of luck out there during the race. Honestly, who knows how that would have ended if things had gone differently.☕

If Sebastian Vettel hadn't screwed up, Button wouldn't have even stood on that podium, let alone Barrichello potentially grabbing any points at all. Instead, Rosberg dropped four spots in just a lap or two.

Does anyone actually know how much Brawn paid for Honda?

For a single pound—definitely a solid investment. 😬

It feels like we were all watching the exact same race... That last Safety Car really killed the momentum and prevented an even more intense battle for position. I honestly can’t remember the last time we saw this much overtaking in Australia.

Sep and that Rosberg guy—honestly, they’re just mediocre drivers.

I wouldn't say he messed up—he actually drove those first two stints brilliantly. Honestly, I think they just botched the strategy by sticking with those soft tires. He clocked the fastest lap right at the end, and considering how easily he shook off Kimi Raikkonen at the start, it was a killer opening move. Are you sure you weren't thinking of Nakajima?

These tire compounds will be available to the drivers for the first four races:

Here, check out this shot of Robert Kubica and Sebastian Vettel—in my opinion, it was a racing incident; if either one had just backed off, there wouldn't have been a collision, and who knows what we might have seen by the end of the race...

I’m with you on that. Honestly, even the director didn't seem to think there was much action worth showing; they probably missed 10-20% of the actual overtakes. In my opinion, the broadcast was poorly handled.

You're spot on—the coverage definitely left a lot to be desired!

Alonso on the Hybrid Drive System

To be honest, I didn't really notice much of an impact from the Hybrid Drive System, and I found myself feeling a tad let down by its overall performance

What a hell of a race! The top 12 drivers all crossed the line within just 8 seconds of each other. 🙏

Well, if you ask me, that Hybrid Drive System was the only thing that helped him transition from being "painfully slow" to merely "pathetic"🙏

It’s even worse when you hear someone like Heikki Kovalainen saying stuff along the lines of, "Yeah, I was just getting ready to hit the button when suddenly..."😂 😂

It's much easier to swallow it as "just Hamilton being lucky" than to actually face the reality of the situation and admit: yeah, Ferrari messed up again, Kimi hit the wall yet again, Sebastian Vettel was an idiot, and so on and so forth... you can just fill in the blanks yourselves. 🤷

Well, if that isn't luck, I don't know what is. 🤷

I mean, if just doing your job is enough to land you on the podium, 😁

Louis wasn't exactly great today, but I guess he got lucky because everyone else was a complete disaster. 😁 🤷

:alcoholic: 🙈 😁

With a car like that, he did the only thing he could do, and he executed it perfectly; the fact that the rest of the crew—well, not all of them, but most—were running around like headless chickens and tripping over themselves on track is their own damn shame, it doesn't take away from how smart his driving actually was...

So, that's one more 🙏point for driving with brains
And another 🙏for Brawn GP

Not that I even know why I'm bothering to explain this 🤷 , since people will just drink themselves into a stupor and forget the whole thing anyway. 😁 😉

God knows, if it weren't for Lewis Hamilton and his incredible luck, Louis(TM) would have been on that podium. 🤷 In all honesty, Louis is basically the tragic figure of this race. 😁

But look, when you're constantly slamming your car into a wall—to the point where it starts feeling like a routine—then we aren't really talking about luck or misfortune anymore. 😛

I usually catch these morning races from my three-seater setup in the living room, mostly just so I can drift off easier if the race ends up being a bit of a snooze fest. 😛

Well, nobody really cares about your sofa,

come on, give us some actual commentary on the race! Since you’re such a die-hard supporter of that completely obscure little team, you’re probably the only one capable of providing an objective breakdown of today's drivers. 👍

That's possible... but I was always taught that just because everyone else is worse than you, it doesn't mean you're actually good. 🤷 😁

Whatever, I'm just frustrated because of my own idiots, so I'm venting. 🙈 😁
