Gary Palmer8 said:And hey—when a team has their own dedicated tire supplier in F1, staying at the top and fighting for titles isn't exactly rocket science... just look at what happened to Renault after Michelin left... they were absolutely crushing it alongside McLaren the year before.

Well, even if we grant you that point,

how does that explain why Toyota remains so inefficient, especially considering they've been pouring twice as much money into car development as Renault has for years now?

I think you might have missed my underlying point. My argument is that even when Toyota manages to land among the three fastest cars on the grid, they still can't seem to pull off any significant results.

It’s honestly quite disheartening.

Exactly... BMW fans are just crossing their fingers hoping they can finally pull something off—especially since they basically pivoted to next year's car halfway through this season and left Robert Kubica out in the cold. Only time will tell if that was enough decision-making😉

As for McLaren... they’ve got a top-tier engine, a stellar driver, and those rules about whatever speeds up the car—which aren't even fully set yet. Honestly, I think having that clarity is going to be a prerequisite for a better future, not a worse one😁

Haha... Lewis really is an eyesore. Let's see if there are any other defenders of this nonsense here who actually believe Glock let Lewis off the hook in Brazil last year?

What are you even talking about? 🙄

I'm just putting all those people—you know, the ones who call every single one of Lewis Hamilton's wins "just luck"—exactly where they belong. 😉

I don't really get why you're picking on me then. 😛

Yesterday was honestly nothing more than pure luck and a lucky break. I guess I'm not disputing Hamilton's driving skill or his overall value.

You call it luck, but I'd call it a lack of skill—basically, Sebastian Vettel and Jarno Trulli just couldn't figure out how to handle the situation...

Jarno Trulli has always lacked that certain edge.
As for Vettel, I guess he just didn't have much luck.

Look, I’m a die-hard Ferrari supporter through and through, but I can't deny Hamilton's talent or his technical grasp of the sport. That being said, you couldn't convince me—not even if God Himself stepped in—that he just happens to have all the luck or that things always somehow fall perfectly into place for him. Take that situation in Monaco last year, for instance... when he punctured a tire and suddenly the safety car comes out right when he needs it to change tires and still stay in the hunt, and so on and so forth... plus, last year's McLaren was incredibly fast, so why all this talk about espionage and whatnot...

Everyone is going to go out and buy those diffusers, and then it’ll just be a total SATARAŠ😁

I feel like it’s a bit rich for Ferrari to be pointing fingers about spying, especially considering their own engineers used to sneak into garages just to get a visual on rival cars in the past.🤣

I’m not interested in rehashing what happened years ago; my focus is strictly on this current season and the one we just finished.
As for this specific instance, I haven't the slightest clue when that actually occurred...🤷

Ross Brawn is making his comeback,
and he’s bringing a car that’ll make both the Benetton and the F2004 look like relics of the past.

Once he got back on track, Truly fought his way back past Hamilton to reclaim the spot—honestly, what is there to say about that, other than perhaps it might be time for Truly to consider trading the cockpit for a quiet vineyard somewhere out in Napa Valley.🤷

🤣🤣 Somewhere far away from an F1 track...😬

The guy is acting like a complete deer in headlights...😂😂

That spying stuff went down two seasons ago.

If you’re going to be such a huge fan, you might want to actually learn how to spell their name correctly.

However, I was quite taken aback by this sudden onslaught against the current champion... It’s truly unfortunate to see people projecting their frustrations over their own teams' poor finishes by insulting Lewis😕. There is honestly no point in wasting words on such individuals...

It sounds incredibly pathetic to hear all this jealousy directed at Lewis... but if that's how you choose to feel, carry on... For McLaren fans, this was an absolutely stellar race, and we have plenty of reasons to celebrate👍

Lewis absolutely crushed that race in Australia.

I don't think that’s enough reason to throw a massive party if you ask me.
If I were in your shoes, the only thing I’d be banking on is Lewis Hamilton and his sheer skill level. He’s a reliable benchmark, period. As for anything else? I wouldn't hold my breath. We already saw enough issues with McLaren to know things aren't perfect, so let's just wait a race or two before we start making any definitive calls.

There is one thing about this race that I simply cannot wrap my head around: how on earth was Barrichello able to plow through two or three cars at the first turn yesterday and still walk away unscathed without a single penalty? It’s absolutely baffling, especially when you consider how strictly they hauled Lewis Hamilton over the coals last year in Japan for that braking incident.

If McLaren is in the gutter, what does that say about the rest of you who haven't achieved anything at all?🤷

Well, I was referring to celebrating the podium finish...😉...as for the car itself, it is far from perfect, so there isn't much to be happy about on that front. However, they are working intensely on it, and the results should continue to improve steadily.☕
