Best gaming PC builds for around $800 - $900?

I posted a thread about this a few months back, but I’m starting a fresh one now. Last time, I decided to hold off so I could save up a decent amount for a proper build. I’m looking for someone who can put together a PC for me—maybe through Micro Center or a similar online retailer that offers pre-built options or individual components. Within this budget, I’d also like to include a monitor, something around 23 or 24 inches. Regarding the RAM, I’m torn between 2x8GB or just a single 16GB stick; I'd love to hear what you all think works best. As for performance, I just want to be able to play newer titles, or even stuff from a year or two ago, on at least Medium settings. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help me spec this out.

Essentially, you're getting a 500GB SSD and stepping up to a much stronger 1660 Super graphics card for this class.

I’ve never just bought an entire rig from one single shop. I go wherever makes sense—wherever it's cheapest or where there's a decent sale. But whatever.

Why on earth wouldn't you go with a Ryzen 5 3600? Instead, they're charging $167 more. Ridiculous.

And say we have to use this specific retailer.

They completely forgot the CPU cooler?? Unbelievable.

Budget is always the main hurdle here. If we can stretch things a little, sure. As it stands, you're just getting the stock cooler with the Ryzen 5 1600AF, but if the budget were a bit more flexible...

For $600, you could squeeze in a Ryzen 5 3600 and a Gigabyte card for $650 plus an extra cooler.

What kind of prices were you looking at? Cash deals usually run lower.
