The trailer is honestly pretty terrible

Man, I’m actually going to cry. This Dragon Ball Evolution trailer looks like an absolute disaster. I really hope they show us more in the next one just so we can figure out if there's even a shred of actual DB left in there. I honestly don't get why they couldn't have just stuck to the animated source material and built a decent trilogy leading up to Freeport.

I absolutely loved the anime, but I’ve got this nagging gut feeling that the movie is going to be a massive flop.
It’s just such a gamble using a bunch of unknown actors, plus trying to adapt Dragon Ball is basically mission impossible because there’s so much lore and so many characters to juggle without it becoming a mess.

They’ll probably end up butchering the whole storyline anyway, so I’m definitely not holding my breath for a blockbuster.

Clearly, we can expect something truly "special" from this one. 😱

Fox is now claiming that the trailer was merely a "promotional teaser" intended solely for investors and partners. Apparently, the actual official trailer won't drop until December because they still need to wrap up the visual effects.

Does this situation ring any bells for anyone? It feels exactly like the massive mess surrounding "Catwoman." Back then, a trailer leaked early too—and once the backlash hit, they pulled it immediately and released a completely different version just a few months later.

Dragon Ball is easily the greatest series ever made, and they’re going to ruin the whole thing with yet another one of those cash-grab movies. I honestly can't decide if I'll even bother watching it, but one thing is certain: PICCOLO RULES!!!!!!!!!!

Man, whenever I look back on elementary school... I remember sitting there glued to the TV watching Dragon Ball Z on Fox, my school day would wrap up at 7:15, and since the show started at 7:30 sharp, I’d be sprinting home every single day just to make sure I didn't miss a second of it...

I loved that show, especially Dragon Ball Z once everyone finally grew up. It was absolute perfection until those stupid androids showed up.😢

And yeah, Vegeta rulzzzzzzzzzz. He’s the best and makes every installment better.😁

Yeah, then you get that whole Future Trunks thing, blah blah blah... just give me Vegeta and Kakarot, they're the only ones worth watching.

I’ve always found it pretty interesting how they handle power levels in the series whenever they're sizing each other up.
Vegeta used to sit at the top of the food chain, but eventually, Goku caught up to him.

I still remember that one episode where he tried to prove his strength by ripping a massive phone book right in half!
Personally, I thought debeo BU was the absolute strongest. While Cell and Freeza were definitely intense villains, BU was king.

I haven't actually sat through those episodes with that character.
I mean, I assume he's tough, but are you actually certain he's stronger than both of them combined?

I've watched everything up through the Freeze saga, plus a handful of episodes from the Cell saga and GT.

That phone book was from the town they later called "Satan City" since he saved them from Cell... 😁

And honestly, he's so cracked that Majin Buu basically just became his buddy to avoid a fight... 😁
