Have you guys caught this hilarious comedy yet?.. It’s all about this guy trying to get over Sarah, which is proving to be a total uphill battle for him, so he heads out to Hawaii where everything starts going sideways in the best way possible... honestly, it's such a great 👍

It feels canceled, lacks any real conviction, and above all, fails to deliver nearly enough comedic moments. ☕

I don't usually find myself gravitating toward these kinds of "lightweight" movies... and if I do happen to watch one, I typically save it for right before bed since, well, I usually just drift off halfway through something like this... but for some reason, I actually stayed awake for this one... and, I must say, it was actually quite good... and rather entertaining, too...

Oh, and I have to mention that Mila Kunis looks absolutely stunning in this...

Anyway, personally? I thought it was actually pretty great. Kind of charming, I guess.

The film was decent enough. To be fair, I expected much more, but it didn't quite too disappoint me.

So... I finally sat down to watch this "masterpiece" today. To be honest, after the first thirty minutes of feeling pretty skeptical, I wasn't picking up any signals that this was even supposed to be a comedy (aside from that legendary naked breakup scene, of course). But, I stand corrected. While the movie isn't exactly packed with laugh-out-loud moments—and Jason Segel (who I've always been a fan of since his role as Marshal on the legendary series "How I Met Your Mother") leans a bit too hard into the nudity scenes, which aren't actually funny—there are other things that make it work. Primarily, I'm talking about Mila Kunis, who is just... wow. 😁 Plus, the whole Hawaii setting and those gorgeous locations really pull you in. The plot is decent; there’s plenty of "fate" and coincidences at play. Sure, a lot of it is predictable, but hey, we aren't expecting some high-brow psychological thriller when we sit down for a rom-com. All in all, I walked away happy. I'd give this flick a 4/5.

I actually liked it. I'm not usually into rom-coms, but this one was pretty cool. It was decent enough to just zone out and turn my brain off for a bit... maybe even worked for me.

Maybe you guys are being a bit too harsh? I actually had a blast watching this... honestly one of the best American comedies I've seen lately! There were so many hilarious moments, and the characters were great (especially Aldous Snow, who just doesn't give a damn about anything)... such a chill summer movie. Even the plot wasn't half bad! I’d give it a solid 4/5, even though this isn't usually my kind of genre!

Honestly, Fogerty's *Sarah Marshall* was such a pleasant surprise. I’d go as far as to say it’s one of the better romantic comedies we've seen in recent memory. It stands in stark contrast to those other recent attempts—take *Accidental Husband* or *Fool's Gold*, for instance—which felt completely hollow and lacked any real wit... this actually moved me. Sure, the premise is standard: a girl breaks up with her boyfriend, he struggles through the initial stages of moving on, he eventually meets someone new—but it’s handled without all that obnoxious exaggeration, featuring characters that feel almost disturbingly real. I don't know... there's just something about how it captures that awkward limbo people land in after a breakup—exes navigating life alongside new partners, everyone acting like actual human beings instead of caricatures. They managed to dodge all the tired tropes—no bitter exes, no villainous new boyfriends, no slapstick revenge plots... it was refreshing.

The reason I connected with it so much is precisely because it stays grounded. I genuinely appreciated that it didn't rely on low-brow toilet humor, gross-out gags, constant smoking, or mocking sexual orientation—all that mindless nonsense that seems to clog up modern "comedies" from the Farrelly brothers or the latest *Harold and Kumar* flick.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I have a feeling anyone who isn't really into that specific brand of dry, cynical American dark comedy might struggle to find the humor here... I was honestly doubling over laughing during the first half, though maybe a little less so later on, but I suspect there were plenty of people in the theater who just didn't get the joke at all. Russell Brand is an absolute genius, truly hilarious and just such a standout performer... as for the rest of the cast, well...

Oh, please. Dark British humor in *this* flick? Give me a break. This thing isn't even funny—period—and that "Englishman" character is basically just a walking, talking personification of pure irritation.
