I'm talking doxycycline—both shots and pills—paired with some cranberry supplements.
The thing about UTIs is that you have to knock them out completely within a two-week window—otherwise, they turn chronic within about a month, and then you're looking at a real nightmare to fix.

Thanks... but I have already completed two full rounds of antibiotics, and I don't particularly have the desire to go through that again... so I am going to stick with this cranberry supplement instead.
I picked up a version from Nature Made that includes Cranactin... it is specifically formulated for E. coli because, as I mentioned before, Cranactin supposedly prevents the bacteria from adhering to the bladder wall... and I have heard from several people that it actually works. The only issue, I suppose, is that one probably needs to take it for at least two months to see any real results.
