Itโ€™s honestly such a shame, but it looks like the Germans were really missing that grit and intensity from players like Kehrman and Zeitz. PreiรŸ was just a complete disaster out thereโ€”how do you manage to draw a foul and give up a penalty with only five seconds left on the clock? And let's be real, Christiansen would have absolutely buried that shot to snatch the lead.

At this point, weโ€™ve got no choice but to pay them back in kind when we face Denmark later in the group stage.๐Ÿ™

I honestly think if we played Dance, they'd just run circles around usโ€”itโ€™d be a total blowout. We can't afford to lose the same way twice. They'd probably walk onto the court way too relaxed (kind of like how the French played today) and then just completely fall apart...

I'm dreading tomorrow's match. Honestly, I'm more nervous about that than I was about facing the French. I didn't catch the game where the Americans played against Germanyโ€”don't know how they lookedโ€”but I have a feeling tomorrow is going to come down to pure conditioning, and right now, we look exhausted. ๐Ÿคท
How are the Americans playing? In the group stage, they ran circles around us...

But like everyone else, Iโ€™m hoping our guys take home the gold. With Ivano Baliฤ‡ leading the charge and the chemistry in this squadโ€”with or without himโ€”this group is special. They have a team spirit you just don't see in any other national team.

Honestly, Iโ€™m worried the guys let things get a little too loose today. No clue how they'll hold it together in the finals! But hey, I keep telling myself it doesn't even matter! After that game where we were down 10, they actually played great to pull through to the finals. Obviously, it'd be awesome to hear our anthem and see gold around our necks, but I won't be too bummed if the Germans take it first. If it's the Americans though... eeee. That would definitely sting. What can you do, right? I just want to see us get some payback for that loss! ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

Looks like the Germans are steamrolling their way to the finalsโ€”theyโ€™re up 12-9 now, though they were sitting pretty at 12-7 just thirty seconds ago.

EDIT: Halftime score is 13-10, Germans leading.

A win for our boys ๐Ÿ‘‹ Theyโ€™re heading into the final with zero pressure now. The medal is already in the bag, and theyโ€™ve officially settled the score with the French...
After playing some of the sloppiest defense of the Euro against the Danes, they showed up today with the best defensive performance of the tournament. If they can just replicate that intensity, we're golden. ๐Ÿ‘‹

They went from being down 7-6 against Denmark to trailing 12-7 against the Germans in just a few minutesโ€”but now the Danes are actually starting to show up.

The Danes could easily choke tomorrow. Honestly, just making it to the final is probably their biggest win since they've blown it in the semis xy times now. They might have already left everything on the court against Germany. Plus, theyโ€™ve probably got that +10 lead over us burned into their brains, so they might walk in thinking it's an easy day at the office.

Exactly... there's no way they'll play the same way they did last time, but we definitely need to stay sharp.
