Abdominal and kidney ultrasound questions

I need to get an abdominal and kidney ultrasound done, but when I went to schedule it, they told me the first available opening isn't for another two months. Does anyone know where I can generally go to get this kind of imaging done here in the States? More importantly, does anyone have leads on where I can get it done ASAP? I don't mind seeing a private specialist—I just need to know how much more expensive that's going to run me compared to the standard route. Thanks!

My doctor also sent me for an abdominal ultrasound, and she made it quite clear that I wasn't obligated to go to that specific hospital if I preferred otherwise; therefore, you should certainly feel empowered to seek care at a different facility. I personally went through my local Community Health Center, and they managed to get me scheduled within about ten days.

I’ve been Googling private clinics in Chicago where I can get an abdominal ultrasound, but I am coming up empty... (Partly because my appointment at Fran Mihaljević isn't even scheduled for nearly a month).

Could someone point me toward a website that lists private facilities? I want to see what's available in my neighborhood—ideally somewhere close by and reasonably priced.

I mean, his main thing is thyroid stuff, but I guess he does ultrasounds too.

I hit up the local Community Health Center, they told me it’d be about five days, so I dropped $50 on it.

The Sun Clinic has locations out in the suburbs and near downtown too.

I recently visited Dr. Solomon at the Community Health Center in downtown Chicago—truly an excellent physician... He doesn't just run a quick ultrasound and send you on your way; he actually takes the time for proper consultations and provides genuine medical guidance, which is a rare find these days... $67 The appointment—it actually happened the very same day I called...
