So, is this Lecitone stuff really just for old ladies? Because what about people actually working a job who are also struggling to focus and deal with memory fog?

Does anyone have recommendations for supplements or vitamins to help with focus? I am struggling to concentrate on just about anything—it’s becoming a real issue. Whether I’m trying to study, watch TV, or even just read, my mind wanders. For instance, I’ll finish an entire article in the New York Times only to realize I haven't processed a single word. I can't tell if it's just burnout or something else entirely—honestly, I have no clue. To be clear, I'm not dealing with depression, so I don't think that's the cause here. I would really appreciate some help—any suggestions for vitamins or similar aids would be great...

I would definitely suggest trying fish oil. Personally, my memory and focus improved significantly once I started taking it regularly. It can be a bit nauseating, but it's worth pushing through. If the taste is too much for you, try getting the capsules instead.

I believe it should work for everyone—though there might be subtle differences in efficacy. You should probably ask a pharmacist.
As for fish oil? I honestly don't think I could handle it. I can't even stomach canned tuna, let alone the oil. If it's natural, it shouldn't cause any harm. Right?

Sweet, thanks for the links! 👍 🙏

Here’s my current lineup:

soy Leciton
omega 3
guarana

Can I stack all of this at once? 😁

I know—I'm a total mess. 😢

You can—don't sweat it. Since none of them are actually doing anything significant, they aren't going to hurt you either. 😉

Though, maybe—and this is just a thought—you should probably go see a doctor, like a GP or even a psychiatrist, just to get some actual professional advice!!??

And what’s the point? Like, they're gonna tell me I'm stressed out and losing my mind—yeah, no kidding, Sherlock, I already know that myself.😉

So, I’ve been going through all your posts... and honestly, I’ve been slamming handfuls of vitamins for years now, yet my studying hasn't moved an inch from where it started. Maybe I just can't focus, or maybe when I actually try to sit down, my concentration vanishes in a heartbeat.
I stay on top of my B vitamins constantly,
but whenever I decide it's time to hit the books, I start loading up on Vitamin C, Leciton if I remember (I guess the trick is being consistent, right?), ABC Ultra Plus, Biotin... basically whatever I can grab to get an edge... but let's be real, you actually have to sit your butt down and study for any of it to even matter.

On another note, if you need a recommendation—grab some Centrum; it's a total vitamin powerhouse and works wonders.

Also, did someone mention getting some Guarana?? That's definitely worth picking up.

And does anyone have advice on how to actually force myself to study instead of just scrolling through the internet or wandering outside to enjoy the sunshine???

Guarana? You can find that in pretty much every CVS or Walgreens you walk into.

As for the other thing—discipline and self-control. (Which, let's be honest, I am completely lacking 😵 )

alright, thanks

any idea what the price tag looks like?

honestly, when it comes to discipline and self-control, I am just completely hopeless—there aren't even words for how much of a joke I am, because I'd seriously rather be banging my head against a wall than actually sitting down to study, it's a total disaster

Oh, I almost forgot to mention—I actually tried using Ginkgo too, and honestly, it worked wonders for me!

I'm guessing maybe $4 or $5, but don't quote me on that—just a random thought.

I’ve been eyeing it for a while but never pulled the trigger. Today, I finally bought some soy Leciton, and I've already forgotten to take it. 😵 —well, hey, at least I have an excuse: I'm getting older, after all. 🤣

Wait, sorry—if Ginkgo actually did the trick, why on earth are you even looking for something else? 😕

(well, it didn't exactly cure my laziness 🤣 can't really complain though, since I'm dealing with the exact same crap 🤣 😉 )

No, don't even worry about it, I'm not holding anything against you at all, seriously 🙂

It's mostly just because there isn't any ginseng left lying around... plus, I really love trying out new stuff, and I've been hearing nothing but amazing things about Guaraná lately, so... honestly, who knows... I guess I just enjoy making a big deal out of nothing, but I'd drink just about anything if it meant I could actually sit down, focus, and truly learn something instead of just staring blankly at a page

So, yeah, I'll have to track down some cash and head over to the drugstore...

I've got some Leciton myself... and I totally forgot to take it today too... yesterday I actually started studying and took it... but then I drank way too much last night, so a little bit of that info just went up in smoke... there's really no helping me 🙂

Oof, alright, let me give it a shot

Sure you can, they aren't harmful... but look, supplements alone won't fix you. There's no magic pill for motivation... unfortunately!

Set a daily routine—work, studying, whatever—and force yourself to stick to it strictly for maybe 2-3 weeks. Once your body adjusts to the new rhythm, the focus issues will settle down.

Personally, I get about 6-7 hours of sleep. I occasionally take a multivitamin or B-complex, hit the bike, and lift weights (lol, hey, exercise helps concentration). I don't struggle with focus. When I have to tackle something boring—school, college, work—it really just comes down to motivation and then focus. Either find something interesting in what you're reading or just grit your teeth and power through so you can go out and party without the guilt!

Just try to be disciplined about following the schedule you set for yourself based on your own needs. It gets easier after that...

PS: Discipline only applies to weekdays, obviously. Weekends have never heard of order or discipline....

So... for those of you who are constantly crushing Guaraná energy tabs—how many are we actually talking about on a daily basis? Are you sticking to the recommended dose of just one or two, or are you guys going way beyond that?

Here’s a little quick report for you guys—I downed some Guaraná yesterday on a totally full stomach... about two hours later it really started kicking in... I felt absolutely wired and super energized... the only bummer was that my focus just wasn't quite there—I was reading, but I was mostly just skimming through everything, so that was definitely a downside... otherwise, when it comes to killing fatigue and getting that massive rush, it definitely delivers.

So here’s a little update for you guys—I decided to knock back some Guaraná yesterday on a totally full stomach... it finally kicked in after about two hours... and man, I felt absolutely wired and pumped up. The only real bummer was that my focus just wasn't quite hitting the mark, you know? Like, I was reading, but I was basically just skimming through everything without really absorbing it, so that was definitely a downside. But honestly, when it comes to crushing fatigue and getting that massive energy boost, this stuff definitely delivers.
