What’s the best way to tackle a hangover? I keep hearing different things—like whether you should grab a coffee or maybe some Advil after a night out, or even take something right before hitting the sack... I know we've probably covered this topic before, but I just can't seem to find the old threads anywhere.

Grab a beer, a glass of wine, or whatever else you were sipping on last night. It actually works.

A few liters of water before bed helps. Hangovers are really just dehydration combined with poor sleep quality...

If you can't remember what you ate yesterday, try doing it again—that might jog your memory.🤮

Why the surprise? You’ve never had anything quite as refined as a glass of Veuve Clicquot...😬

Yeah... I mean, hangovers are usually just dehydration or those nasty additives they dump into drinks...

For me, nothing works better than just a regular black coffee mixed with some Pedialyte.

I’m looking for a little trick—something I can do right before hitting the sack so I actually wake up feeling refreshed and ready to go, instead of like a total zombie 🙂 Has anyone ever heard of those specialty coffee shops or maybe even an andol C that could help with that?

Storm clouds are gathering. I mean, I had about four or five beers yesterday with a buddy—he insisted on picking up the tab for some reason, even though I don't usually touch alcohol more than once a week—and then I came home, grabbed a bite to eat, and made sure to drink about a quart of water today. I guess I'm feeling alright enough for now. 😁

If I were to attempt to craft a routine that might actually result in waking up feeling refreshed—as if the previous day hadn't taken such a toll—I think it would involve a more disciplined approach to the evening hours. Maybe one could try implementing a strict digital sunset. It sounds a bit cliché, I know, but limiting exposure to blue light from phones or tablets an hour before bed might help settle the mind. I also find that if I don't wind down with something low-stakes, like reading a physical book rather than scrolling through news feeds, my sleep quality seems slightly more stable. Another thing, perhaps, is temperature regulation. I've noticed that keeping the bedroom quite cool helps me drift off more easily. And, of course, avoiding heavy meals late at night is probably essential, though I admit that isn't always easy to follow. It’s all about consistency, I guess. There isn't really a magic trick, but if you manage to control those small variables, you might just wake up feeling somewhat decent for once. 🙂

I suppose if one were to clap their hands exactly six times while chanting "zamba hey, zamba hey," it might be considered a somewhat eccentric way to pass the time, though I can't say I find it particularly productive. 😁

Give me a break. Not everyone's out here puking.😬.
Besides, before anyone goes out and gets wasted, they should probably grab some olives, something fatty, or just take a shot of olive oil. Period.

I feel totally fine today. 😁

Man, I've been doing that for years—starting to chug water about an hour before heading home—but lately, it just doesn't seem to do much anymore...

I suppose it also depends on what you've been drinking; if you’re coming off a night at a local dive bar or some big party, 🤣 you can probably drink as much water as you want and it won't matter much... 😬

Dehydration happens because of alcohol, food coloring additives, and all those other fermentation byproducts. There’s really no magic cure for a hangover, except maybe staying ahead of it by drinking water while you drink—like, grab a glass of water for every beer—or just chugging some before you hit the hay.
But here’s something pretty wild... there’s actually a compound that almost completely shuts down how alcohol hits your system. Basically, you could keep drinking until your liver gives up, but you wouldn't feel a thing; you won't even get buzzed. It's called "Naltrexone." So, if anyone out there can get their hands on it, I say go for it... maybe try a competitive drinking contest until you pass out 👍 just kidding, obviously 😉

Before I turn in for the night, I make sure to chug enough water to feel completely bloated... to the point where my stomach actually starts to ache.
Sometimes I’ll knock back as much as two liters... though it really just depends on how hard I went out and whatever else I was drinking that night.
It honestly gives me a bit of a scare when I wake up the next morning and realize I’ve barely passed any of that liquid back out.

Also, fermented cabbage brine is an absolute lifesaver. Vitamin C works its best magic there, helping to replenish everything the body is missing. 🙂
Of course, any sort of Vitamin C supplement can be helpful, but let’s be real—nothing compares to a glass of homemade brine from Grandma's kitchen. 🙂

Good people, I’m asking for some help here. Maybe a cup of tea would do the trick? Right now, I feel like I’ve been run over by a semi-truck... and then immediately backed over for good measure.

Look, here’s the move: once you finally crawl through your front door after a heavy night of drinking, force yourself to chug at least a good amount of water—ideally a full pint... It’ll stop that headache from hitting you like a truck. Then, when you wake up the next morning, grab something acidic to eat, you know how it goes... Skip the coffee entirely; that just dehydrates you even more. If someone can whip up some homemade tomato soup for you, man... mmmm

Just stop drinking. It’s the single best thing you can do for your hangover. Or, if you aren't ready to quit entirely, at least learn some damn self-control. 😬

Acid reflux, some sauerkraut, plenty of tea—green tea to detox and peppermint to settle that stomach—aspirin, plus a temple massage while you sit quietly in a dark corner and wait for it to pass. You’ll be smarter about it next time, hopefully.😬

Look, let’s be real: the only actual cure for a hangover is sleep. Everything else? It's just fairy tales for toddlers.
