I’ve always had a thing about needles—really hate them—so whenever they come up... 😁 I basically have to turn my head away from the screen when I see needles in a movie😁

That absolute garbage from Omen recently... It’s when she’s just brushing her teeth in the quiet, moves the mirror slightly, and for a split second in the reflection—accompanied, of course, by that inevitable, loud, jarring sound—she sees this hairy, red creature just standing there, staring. She was trying to look composed while leaning toward her friend, but I swear, her knees were shaking; they were definitely shaking.

It probably felt more intense because it was so sudden and I was sitting right by the speakers, but still.

First off, that movie is not trash. 😉 For me, the scariest part was when that guy started shaving the kid's head looking for the 666 mark, and then that old lady just lunged at him! 😱 Ugh, the whole theater jumped, and some guy near me actually started swearing his head off...😂

Session 9. Stabbing that needle into the eye — I honestly didn't see that ending coming. It’s as if the rest of the movie wasn't disturbing enough already 😲

Some gambling den... honestly, I can't even recall which one. There was this guy drinking what he thought was water, but it turned out to be pure acid—maybe hydrofluoric?—and then you just watch him start dissolving from the inside out...

It really is garbage, though; besides all the stupidity, it ends on such a total dud of a note.

Man, there is nothing more unsettling than that specific trope. You know the one—a character walks into a kid's room while they're fast asleep, everything is quiet, and then suddenly you hear this low, aggressive growling. Then the camera pans over to show this massive, creepy dog just sitting right there by the bed, staring, like it’s "guarding" the kid. It gives me the absolute chills every single time. It's such a heavy, eerie way to build tension.
Man, those same creepy images that have some "glitch" on them? The ones that basically act like a spoiler for how you're gonna kick the bucket... honestly, chills. Brrr.
That scene near the end where that billboard falls and just straight-up decapitates the news reporter? Absolutely insane.
Man, that scene where that spike goes through the priest—and those creepy shots of that jagged shadow creeping toward him? Absolutely wild.😱

I’m not usually the type to get worked up over every jump scare—half the time I’m actually just sitting there cracking up at how ridiculous everything is—but this one actually got under my skin.😂Man, this movie seriously stressed me out.

There wasn't a single scene quite like that; honestly, it's just a movie, Mother. Though, I will admit, a few moments definitely rattled my nerves. That shot of the baby's skeleton with the hole in its skull in Omen, one of those Carpenter sound effects in Halloween, or when that creature leans against the pot in The Fly... they aren't "terrifying" per se, just intense 🙂. But no, they didn't make me shake in my boots. I'm totally off-topic here 😢

There’s also those specific images that seem to have some kind of "glitch" in them, but if you look closely, they actually depict exactly how someone is going to die. It’s enough to give you the chills...

Not really, I don't think that's quite it. What you’re talking about used to be handled with a certain level of restraint, which meant you could actually prepare yourself mentally for it. Back when we were watching those old horror classics, you could almost count on the supernatural, the grotesque, or a lingering sense of mystery—you know, all sorts of things. But I guess those kinds of scares don't really rattle people anymore. Nowadays, everything seems to rely on being sudden and loud. It’s hard to control your physical reflexes, so I suppose they just feel the need to make sure your heart jumps a little bit.

I don't really watch horror movies, so I haven't had experiences quite like yours 😱, but man, I’ve definitely been spooked before (and not in a good way!). For me, the absolute worst part was that creepy, grayish little gnome creature popping up from behind the sofa in one of those early episodes of Twin Peaks, right while Lara Flynn Boyle was sitting there in the same room. Neither of them even notices him, but you just get this constant, heavy feeling that something twisted and terrifying is happening... until he finally spots him! Oh my god... 😱 🙂

Signs is a solid movie, though that scene where Joaquin Phoenix spots the alien on the TV at the kid's party really shook me...😱

I have this one scene etched into my memory from some mindless horror flick. I can’t quite recall the title, but the premise is pretty standard: a group of people wanders into an old house that used to be a mental asylum, only to encounter all sorts of disturbing things once they're inside. If I remember correctly, there was some sort of bet involved—something about whoever survives gets a million dollars.
There’s that one scene where you see some mad scientist on the corner of the monitor, hands moving at this frantic, erratic pace while he works... It feels completely unnatural. Honestly, it was pretty chilling.
I know you're all probably thinking the same thing right now. 😕 But then again, someone might recognize it. 😬
