How do I upload images and videos to the forum?

I’m kinda wondering why the "Political Edge" subforum doesn't have an "Insert Image" option like everywhere else does? I guess there's just no way to upload any pics here, no matter what I try.

Because that’s just how it was decided. The moderators over there set those rules in coordination with the site admins. It isn't even the only subforum like that. Images aren't allowed in places like the "Celebrations" or "Banned Users" boards either.

If you really need to include an image in a post, just leave a link to the image instead.

Does anyone know why the "insert image" option isn't working for me? I can't seem to get any pictures to upload...

If you could just send me the link to the image you're thinking of using, I can probably walk you through everything.

Can you see the picture in this link? Well, instead of posting the link itself to the forum, maybe try right-clicking on the actual image and then selecting View Image. That should give you a new link up there which is the real one. Then, you just copy that link and paste it into Insert Image and you're all set.

Unbelievable. I managed to pull it off once, but now it’s just not happening again. It keeps coming up blank! Am I just being an idiot, or what?...

So, is that subforum gonna stay like this forever—no images allowed? Or is it just temporary?

That’s how it stands for now. Until someone decides otherwise. Could be tomorrow, could be next year, or maybe never. Check with the moderators over there if you need more info.

Not quite, try it like this instead:

Just a heads up—please test this out with some smaller images first! You don't want to end up getting a ticket from the server because your file is bigger than 640px 😉
