Yeah, and? Now you've got me confused. 🤔 Maybe I'm not a woman after all? 😕

I guess redowl90 could probably explain that better than I can.

Or maybe just ask Melissa Vaughn6.

Give me a break—what is wrong with you? That movie is pure metrosexual fluff; there is absolutely nothing "manly" about it. 😁

If you want to talk about movies that are unapologetically masculine, you have to look at The Getaway, the entire Russo Meyer catalog, Scarface, those Sergio Leone classics, and Cobra. That’s the real deal right there. 😁Payback, Dirty Harry, The Heat... and all that good stuff. 😁

Brian Moore67 said:Speed should have been a total man's movie, honestly. A while back, some woman was trying to talk me into seeing it in theaters, insisting it was incredible, the greatest movie ever made... Fine, let's go see Speed. Absolute garbage. Right in front of the theater, I gave her this look and asked, with pure disgust, "A great movie?" and she just gives me this wide-eyed look and goes, "Oh, but Keanu Reeves is sooo gooooood 😍 " "

Exactly... total trash... you're the problem, lady 😁

There it is, that's the deal... when a woman claims a movie is crap but we men all know it absolutely crushes, then Speed equals a real man's movie 🙂

Die Hard is a real man's movie. Speed is just its lazy younger brother—the kind of kid who goes to music school to play the flute.

I don't quite get what confused everyone about The Shawshank Redemption...

It’s just a genuine guy's movie, but it stands apart from most other "tough guy" flicks because it actually has some heart in it...

That's really all there is to it...

I absolutely love all these movies, and I'm a woman! 🙂
Hey, what's wrong with me?... 😕

The last one works! Listen, dear reader, there is absolutely nothing wrong with you! Those movies are total classics, and honestly, seeing all those rugged, handsome guys on screen just makes the whole experience even better...)

Look, it’s a quintessential guy's movie. But it stands apart from your typical "tough guy" flicks because it actually has some heart and real emotion behind it...

That's really all there is to it.

So, go ahead. Define "guy's movie" for us. 🙂

Men don't have feelings—only women and flowers do. The only sentiment a man actually possesses is national pride.

I'm with you on that. 🙏

The Die Hard trilogy is obviously top tier 🙏

And the Evil Dead trilogy too 🙏

Alright, look, Conan the Barbarian is definitely a "guy movie." Honestly, the second I see him on screen, I start cracking up and don't stop laughing until the credits roll🤣 🤣I just can't take him seriously, I really can't...
So basically, the guys won't let me watch stuff with them. They get all annoyed because I'm busy making fun of it.

Ugh, zombies... I just can't deal with them right now 😂 😂

PS: Aside from Shaun of the Dead, they're just pure comedy gold... 🤣

If I’m reading this correctly, we’re talking about those movies that are just so unapologetically "guy movies" that they rarely catch a woman's interest😍—or maybe they’re just too intense for most women to really vibe with... personally, Conan definitely doesn't hit that mark for me😬 and neither does Shawshank... etc., whereas something like The Godfather trilogy... 😕 please don't come for me now! 😁

A "guy movie" is basically just a flick that women can't stand because it's nothing but macho posturing and zero actual substance.

For me, Conan the Barbarian is a total comedy too—that's exactly why I love it! And every single time the Governor pops up on screen, my brain immediately goes straight to "Crom laughs at your four winds. He laughs from his mountain," but like, said with a super thick, ridiculous accent.

Jack Lopez, what are we talking about feelings for when there's enough alcohol to last us through the night?🙂 😬

It seems like most of the guys don't want me watching movies with them. They get annoyed when I make jokes about it.
😂 😂

That's true... Conan is mine. 🙏 i 👍 Movies like this... it's rare to find a woman who actually enjoys them, let alone tolerates them.

If I ever find a beautiful woman who loves Conan the Barbarian, I’m proposing on the spot. 😬 Everything else is just empty beauty. 🤣

Morgan Ortiz91 said:or maybe you rarely get them... Conan definitely doesn't fit into that category for me😬

Look, Morgan Ortiz91, I don't think you've really understood what makes a movie "masculine" just because some guy explained it to you🙄
