Joshua Bennett4 said:Alright, fine, Conan the Barbarian is definitely a "guy movie." I start laughing the second I see it and I'm cracking up until the very end. 🤣 🤣 I just can't take it seriously, I really can't...
So most guys won't let me watch it with them. They get annoyed because I'm making fun of it.
😂 😂

That's true... Conan the Barbarian is 🙏 and 👍 for me... but rarely does a woman actually enjoy it, or even tolerate it.

If I find a beautiful woman who loves Conan the Barbarian, I'll marry her. 😬 Everything else is just superficial beauty. 🤣

quietdriver3 said:Hey, Morgan Ortiz91, you can't really claim you actually "got" a movie made for the guys if you just had some dude sit you down and explain the whole plot to you! 🙄

Hey, quietdriver3, why don't we just grab a coffee somewhere and meet up one-on-one so I can finally walk you through my take on that movie? 😈

Hey... just give me a name, baby. Who's the star of the show? 🙂

Honestly, Kokakoka is the kind of woman you need 👍

You're mistaken. Most of my female friends and even my ex love watching that movie. It’s got Bruce Campbell... were you actually doubting that?

Dirty Harry... John Woo — if there really is a woman out there who loves that movie, I’ll eat my hat... 🙏 😬

Once I track down a gorgeous girl who’s actually into 😬Conan, I’m proposing on the spot! Everything else is just superficial beauty, really. 🤣

It really makes you wonder, though—how many women have you actually met in your life? Or, to put it more pointedly: how many women you actually know have you ever sat down and had a real conversation with about 😍Conan?

What is there even to contemplate? Conan is fundamentally a movie for men. Slaughter, violence, machismo, Schwarzenegger, blood, carnage, muscle, swordplay... Did I mention the violence?

Well, you know, some women actually dig the whole carnage and machismo thing, and as far back as I can remember, a few of my female friends were definitely not immune to Schwarzenegger's charm 😁, though looking back at his leading ladies, they certainly had to know how to swing a blade pretty well to keep up 😍, and hey, Grace Jones was a total powerhouse too 😁 😁

Exactly, what I’m trying to get at is that women can definitely relate to certain things in movies too... like some of those 😍
bits, you know?

the only thing you're gonna be needing afterward is a trip to the ER 😍 go on then, Beaver, go catch some crabs 😬

Maybe you think it's because of the priapism? Don't sweat it, I guess I'll live. 🙂

Honey, I think I've outgrown you... I guess I'm just into fishing now. 😉

Beaver, are you seriously trying to sell that "macho" excuse to everyone? 🙄

from: women have this almost primal instinct for picking up on male-centric movies because, let's face it, we were all little girls once too 😬, I’m speaking from direct experience here—as a kid, I was absolutely obsessed with Conan the Barbarian and those high-octane action flicks 🙂

Kyle Watson8 said:Hey Beaver, are you trying to pull that whole "huge ego" routine on everyone? 🙄

It’s not really a routine. I guess you could call it a blessing 😍

Kyle Watson8 said:I'm just speaking from experience, honestly. Ever since I was a kid, I've been obsessed with Conan the Barbarian and those old-school action flicks.

So, did you finally move on to the real stuff?

Kyle Watson8 said:Hey, quietdriver3, are you seriously trying to pull that same old "overcompensating" line on everyone you meet? 🙄

It’s pretty obvious that this concept just stuck in his brain way back when he was sitting through those nature documentaries on Discovery Channel.

Kyle Watson8 said:Honestly, I’ve been thinking about this lately, and it feels like women have this sort of deep-seated, almost primal ability to wrap their heads around male-centric movies, mostly just because, well, they were once little girls themselves too, right? It’s like that instinctual connection stays with you. 😬I’m saying this from my own personal experience, because ever since I was a little kid, I have absolutely loved Conan the Barbarian and those classic movies where everyone just goes at it with nothing but pure, unadulterated action. 🙂

🤣

I mean, I can think of plenty of other nature terms... I could show you 😉

Anyway, I just remembered another classic of ours: Ninja 🙂
