Scary Movie 4

I don't know, there’s just something about this new installment that sits wrong with me. I mean, we're dealing with aliens now? It feels weird, doesn't it?

Watched it last night!

I went in expecting some laughs, and I did laugh, but... it could've been way funnier. 👍

You really have to see these movies first to get the joke. For me, the heavy hitters were things like 🤣 Brokeback Mountain, but if more of them had parodied those...

The previous sequel was better...

I didn't really care for it myself...

I much preferred the bits at the start with Charlie Sheen and that ending involving Oprah Winfrey and Tom Cruise...

Who even watches or makes these things anymore? Honestly, nothing beats a Dark film. Parodies used to be pure gold. Leslie Nielsen was just on a whole different level compared to what we see today.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE and COMPLETELY POINTLESS MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Worst sequel yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 0/10. Ranking it alongside Scary Movie 2 👎 It’s actually even MORE BRAINLESS than Scary Movie 2, though it has a few marginally "better" bits. While SM2 was basically a non-stop party of insults without needing much actual parody, SM 4 just boils down to 5,000,000 wasted moments with almost zero successful jokes. This sequel TRULY MAKES NO SENSE. NONE AT ALL.

To address the guy who thinks the Wayans brothers are responsible for why the previous films sucked—actually, the "truth" is different. The earlier installments were WAY better than this one... If people claim this is better because the Wayans brothers aren't involved, and given that the Wayans brothers are usually synonymous with "crassness" and "shallowness," then how come the only decent jokes in this sequel revolve around crap and urine? (ironically, these are similar to the failed attempts in SM 2). Scary Movie 3 wasn't directed by the Wayans brothers either, but that is a MUCH better movie 👍 this movie is no good !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To make a long story short....

Funny moments:

- I think I love you moment
- Million Dollar Baby moment (the only successful parody out of 500 senseless interruptions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
- microscope moment - urine moment
- urine moment
- Carmen Electra/ Church moment
- "take those clothes" moment
- Brenda shows Cindy news footage before/after 😂

And if I'm being really generous:

- Brenda Vs Saw clown face moment - Tom Ryan Oprah moment
- Tom Ryan Oprah moment (let's say partially)

+ 5,000,000,000,000,000,000 WASTED MOMENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SM 4 has the ABSOLUTE WORST OPENING SEQUENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (out of all the previous films... ) Dr. Phil and Shaquille O'Neal have absolutely NO ACTING SKILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A pointless sequel. 👎
