The main thing is that the movie is excellent, and I’d recommend it to anyone... honestly, it’s probably the best horror film of the year. 🙂

Does anyone know what this movie is called in America—and is this actually the official title? A woman at the local Blockbuster gave me such a weird look when I asked🙂

The original title is The Descent, and I haven't a clue what they called it here in the States. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the lady had no idea what she was talking about—I run into people like that all the time, people working a job without having any actual clue how it works. At the very least, the movie isn't hard to sit through. Plus, she should have some kind of movie list on her computer, unless they aren't considered "modern" anymore or something.🤣

The Descent hasn't officially arrived on American soil yet... at least not through official channels. 😉

So... isn't there always a risk that this turns out to be just some low-quality junk pulled off the internet? I mean—it’s a pretty grainy shot. Forgive me for asking, but I don't really know much about this stuff myself.

I just grabbed this one online and the quality is honestly top-tier. No annoying subtitles cluttering up the screen, and even the audio is crisp. It feels like those days when you had to settle for garbage files are finally over; nowadays, everything you find is a solid DVD rip. The only real headache left is when some guy tries to sneak a camera into a theater to record the latest blockbuster.

Oh, by the way—there are actually subtitles available for The Descent too. 🙂

Just watched it again... and honestly, I’m still losing my mind over it, just like the first time. I really don't get why Juno hasn't been voted off yet. Look, I'll be the first to admit everything she's done was out of line, but when you're in a survival situation like this, you have to stick together, right? That's how you survive. If she's having those kinds of mental breakdowns, she needs to go see a therapist or something instead of tearing the group apart. 🤣

Maybe I wouldn't, but honestly? I’d let him live just because two people always have a better shot at surviving than one lone wolf. Then, later on, when the guy is sitting there thinking, "Man, I can't believe she actually forgave me," I'd hit him with a massive, "Hell yeah, we made it!" And right then, in that perfect moment of false security, I'd finish the job with one final line: "Who's laughing now?" 😈 🤣

(But if they had played it that way, the Crawlers should have engaged Juno first. That would have at least bought her enough time to make a clean getaway.)
