Did you guys catch that holiday flick? Billy Bob Thornton as Santa Claus, and some chubby kid just being a chubby kid? It was the first comedy that actually had me dying after Zoolander. I even caught a screening around 1:30 on a Sunday when the theater was basically empty—felt kinda bad laughing my head off in an empty room. There’s this one scene where they're driving in the car and Bill tells him he's clearly hit his head too many times, and the kid is just like, "Whose head?" and then they start bickering. I was literally on the floor. 😁 😁 😁

I mean, how can a movie be anything but a mess when Santa Claus is a drunk, the kid is overweight and constantly sniffling, and there are little people involved? The only bummer is that since it's a bit of a mainstream hit, some of the jokes couldn't have been even more radical, if you know what I mean.

You can actually grab the unrated DVD cut of Badder Santa--it’s got an extra seven minutes of those "raw" scenes that didn't make the theatrical cut.

For me, the best part was that argument between the dwarf and the store detective.

That bit where the store detective says, "If you don't plug it, I'll shove it up my ass," and the dwarf replies, "Wasn't it enough for you yesterday?"

🤣

It honestly drove me crazy that the idiot forgot he was supposed to grab the purple one, not the pink rabbit 😁

And ugh, gross... those tacky nylon stockings Grandma used to wear that they’d pull off over the fireplace 🤣

I also got a kick out of watching the kid realize he could actually trip himself up 😁

It wasn't exactly a hysterical laughing fit, but I still had a great time 🙂

Kid: Why do you even need a car?
Willie: What the hell are you even talking about?
Kid: This car.
Willie: Which turn am I looking for?
Kid: Sag Terrace. And where’s your sleigh?
Willie: In the shop, getting fixed up.
Kid: Where are the reindeer?
Willie: I put them in the stables. Am I turning left or right?
Kid: That way. Where's the stable?
Willie: Right next to the shop.
Kid: How do they sleep?
Willie: Who, the reindeer? They sleep standing up.
Kid: But the noise. How do they sleep through that?
Willie: What noise?
Kid: Coming from the shop.
Willie: Look, they only work during the day, alright?
Kid: I thought it was always night at the North Pole.
Willie: Well, not right now. It's daytime 24/7 currently.
Kid: Then how do they sleep?
Willie: Oh, man. Sag Terrace. Seriously, what is wrong with you? Did someone drop you on your fucking head?
Kid: On *my* head?
Willie: Yeah, obviously. What, you think they’re gonna drop you on someone else's head?
Kid: How could they drop me on my own head?
Willie: No, I didn't mean *onto* your... Ugh, god damn it! Are you fucking with me?

It was honestly the first comedy that absolutely killed me after Zoolander. I actually went to see it on Sunday at around 1:30 AM when the theater was totally empty—I felt a little embarrassed laughing so hard by myself! There’s this one scene where they’re driving in the car and Bill tells him, "You've definitely taken too many hits to the head." And the kid just goes, "Whose head?" and then they start bickering. I was literally rolling on the floor. 😁 😁 😁

How could a movie be anything but hilarious when Santa Claus is a total drunk, the kid is overweight and constantly sniffling, and there are even little people involved? Ugh, I just can't stand Thornton. I didn't even realize he was acting in it; otherwise, I never would have watched it. I didn't really enjoy it. I mean, the concept is cool, but I wasn't impressed. Thank goodness I didn't pay for my own ticket, or I would have felt so bad.
That chubby kid is actually hilarious, though.

And don't even get me started on the part where Santa Claus pees his pants!

The movie was such a total rollercoaster for me. One second I'm cracking up at a hilarious moment, and the next, I'm hit with this wave of pure sentimentality. Honestly, what was the point of all that crying near the end over "but it's Christmas?" 🙄 The only reason they'd do that is if they didn't want to show that he had completely and utterly lost his mind. Otherwise 🙏

How can a movie about Santa Claus being obsessed with hooking up with chubby women be any good?

How could a movie be anything but great when Santa Claus is a wreck, the kid is overweight and constantly sniffling, and there are even little people involved? My only gripe is that since it’s a somewhat mainstream film, some of the jokes couldn't be quite as radical as they might have been.

It really is that kind of vibe, though. Much like Zoolander, just a silly, goofy comedy. 😁

Anyway, it's definitely worth a watch!

I'm just lounging on the couch and I basically skimmed through it, but now I see I really need to sit down and watch the whole thing from start to finish.
How does that scene go where she's getting wrapped up at the bar? It’s like, "Honey, I'm smoking, drinking, fucking Santa..." And then she’s all like, "Prove it!" And then you get that sound of them grinding in the car under a streetlamp on the side of the road—"Fuck-me-Sant, Fuck-me-Sant, Fuck-Meent!!!" 😁So good.

To quote BB Mirković: absolutely genius. 👍 One simply must experience this on the big screen at Cinemark—perhaps one might even walk away with a few sparks of inspiration. 😁

Though, honestly, screw Cinemark. They clearly state it’s not for anyone under sixteen, yet I found myself trapped in a theater filled with a literal kindergarten class. Between the constant popcorn crunching, the glowing phone screens, and the endless whispering about whether someone finished their homework or if they noticed that cute boy from the third grade, it was quite something. I mean, seriously... 🙂

There is this one particular scene where Billy Bob Thornton is beating up a Kid by a tree, and I couldn't help but reflect on everything... 😈

Oh, America, how far you have fallen...

I honestly can't remember the last time I laughed that hard in a movie theater👍

But since I always hit up Cinemark for their cheese tacostand—which, frankly, gave me a bit of indigestion when they showed that kid with the dried-up nostrils on screen...🙂 😁

Anyway, Thornton has always been my absolute favorite, and I think he’s the perfect fit for the lead in this one (something that hasn't really happened before 😁 )
