If I had to pick my favorites, I would go with Thierry Henry, Ronaldinho, and Kaká, in that specific order.

It seems to me that the list includes a few names that feel somewhat out of place—perhaps even a bit undeserved—such as Zagorakis 🤣, Gerrard, Beckham 😂 😂, Figo, and Eto'o.

They completely overlooked Nika Kranjčar :asshole:, the "best" player in the MLS. I honestly wonder how they managed to miss him like that...😂 🙏

Since I’ve always had a soft spot for technical players and honestly value domestic leagues more than any other tournament, my top picks have to be Thierry Henry, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Francesco Totti.

Thierry Henry - That undefeated run with Arsenal FC? Unbelievable. In the Premier League, this guy basically dictates reality. The downside is that his specific style didn't translate quite as smoothly to the national team. Still, his season at Arsenal was easily top five.

Cristiano Ronaldo - He’s tearing up La Liga as the top scorer. When he’s healthy, he absolutely destroys everyone at the club level, and even more so for his national team. He’s the best player on the planet, even if his club ended up finishing second.

Francesco Totti - Regardless of how mediocre AS Roma was or how lackluster the UEFA Euro turned out, last season in Serie A was easily the peak of his career. When a second striker puts up numbers like that, you can't deny he had a massive season.

Some honorable mentions too - Ronaldinho, Roy Makaay, and Frank Lampard (and yeah, I didn't expect myself to actually name an Englishman).

As for the rest of this list? Absolute garbage. Beckham, Roberto Carlos, Michael Owen, and Oliver Kahn are total jokes.

Personally, I’d love to see someone like Ronaldinho or Roberto Carlos get the nod, but honestly, Thierry Henry has such an ironclad claim to this title that I just can't bring myself to cross him off my list.

It's Ronaldinho, plain and simple. He’s the only one out there today who actually plays with some soul and does whatever he wants on the pitch. Everyone else is just a robot following instructions.

Honestly, if you’re asking me? It’s Ronaldinho, no questions asked, no second guessing required. Just pure vibes.
Kaká was just on another level, man. Seriously.

I’m with nimblemarlin17 on this one. Even though I'm not exactly a fan of Thierry Henry, he earned it. Honestly, I would have preferred seeing Ronaldinho take it since he was arguably the best, but he didn't really achieve anything special or win major trophies, and frankly, I can't stand his club either.

I’d honestly just swap out Totti for Ronaldinho at number three.

Ronaldinho was absolutely phenomenal during the second half of the season—just incredible to watch—but unfortunately, FC Barcelona didn't manage to take home any silverware (it’s such a shame, really, since they finally found their rhythm so late in the campaign), so I'm not entirely convinced. As for Thierry Henry, I've never been his biggest fan, but I have to admit he seemed virtually unstoppable against Arsenal FC last season. Though, if I'm being honest, I think he might have actually been better off staying away from the national team altogether.
