Well, it’s most likely just hemorrhoids. You don't necessarily need to see blood for that to be the case; usually, it only happens when you're dealing with hard stools and things start to tear. You might want to try some over-the-counter suppositories or ointments, though I can't say for certain how many days it will take to clear up, as it really varies from person to person. Things like your diet, staying active, and maintaining good hygiene—specifically keeping the area clean after using the restroom 😉—can make a significant difference.
Oh, and one more thing... if you're looking to soften things up, you could try making some homemade prune juice. There are plenty of different recipes online, and honestly, any method you choose will probably work just fine. It’s quite effective at soothing hemorrhoids by softening the stool, and it actually tastes pretty good, even for those of us who aren't particularly fond of dried fruit 😛.

So I actually went ahead and bought that ointment, but man, it started itching so intensely right away that I had to go wash it all off immediately😁. And the label even mentions that kind of reaction is one of the side effects... honestly, now I’m feeling a bit hesitant about using it at all😁. I might still give it one more shot before heading to bed tonight, though. As for my digestion, constipation isn't really an issue for me—I haven't noticed it affecting anything on that front. Thanks anyway for the help😉

Hehe, I honestly don't know... I've never really dealt with that myself. But it sounds unpleasant. Maybe give it another shot? If that doesn't work, you might want to stop by a CVS to see if they have something similar over the counter, or perhaps just reach out to your doctor... 😁

I guess I'll just have to wait and see how this whole thing plays out... if my skin keeps acting up from that ointment, I'll probably just head over to the doctor and get it checked out...

While there’s certainly some truth to the idea that honey is beneficial, if you really want to talk about high-value bee products, you have to look at pollen, propolis, and royal jelly. We’ve actually harnessed that synergy in our signature blend, the Hippocratic Oath formula. Beyond its general wellness benefits, this specific combination is designed to provide significant relief for even the most stubborn hemorrhoids.

Yeah, those are internal ones. It’s exactly the same situation for me. Hemorrhoids can be hereditary. If your dad deals with them, there's a high chance you will too. That tiny spot just means a hemorrhoid burst. It's not the end of the world. Honestly, people deal with bleeding that's way more intense than this. Don't panic. If sitting becomes painful, you can try some ointment or suppositories, but mostly you just need a solid diet, regular bowel movements, keeping the area clean after trips to the bathroom, and staying active. Try avoiding fruit with tough skins or seeds—or just peel them first. Also, cut back on the greasy, spicy stuff. No need to freak out. You'll be fine. 👍

Hey Thomas Roberts9, thanks a ton for the reply. 🙂

I didn't feel a single itch or sting all day, even though I was at the university since 7 AM. I guess listening to your advice last night and using cold water helped 🙂. I'm seriously relieved it's nothing serious; I didn't notice anything on the paper today, and I'm definitely sticking to the cleaning routine from now on 🙂. Thanks again!
Best, 😉

Don't worry about it at all. Honestly, I didn't even deal with hemorrhoids before I started college. It seems to me that sitting for way too long while studying—not to mention the questionable food they serve in the dining hall—only makes things worse.
If you need anything else, just let me know.🙂
Best,

P.S.—I have heard people suggest using cold water, but if I’m being completely honest, I tend to avoid that because I've always been told that cold can actually trigger or worsen the condition. I personally try to stay away from anything cold; my understanding is that the chill constricts your blood vessels, which might hinder proper circulation, though I suppose I should probably look into that more deeply. That's just my own little theory, anyway.😉

Best,

P.S.—I heard about the cold water thing too, but honestly, I don't do it. You know what they say: sitting on a cold seat can trigger or worsen hemorrhoids. So, I avoid anything cold. Besides, from what I understand, cold constricts blood vessels, which is the last thing you want when you need proper circulation. Just my two cents, though... we should probably look it up. 😉

Oh, right, I almost forgot... I asked my dad yesterday and he said definitely skip the cold water and stick to lukewarm. It actually makes sense with what you were saying... and my dad's been through this enough to know.
Basically, I agree with everything you wrote. We eat junk, we sit all day, we barely move. It was only a matter of time before the consequences caught up with us.
By the way, today is 👍, totally smooth sailing!

I am truly relieved to hear that things are starting to settle down for you 😉 just please be mindful of your diet and try to stick to foods that promote easier digestion; you really want to avoid anything that causes constipation, because dealing with hard stools alongside hemorrhoids can lead to significant pain and bleeding 👎
as for staying active, just move as much as you reasonably can—whether that’s walking to campus and back, heading to the grocery store, or even just a quick trip to the local convenience store... all those little movements eventually add up. if only we students actually had enough free time to commit to a regular workout routine or some kind of physical activity at least three times a week, everything would be so much easier, but I suppose that's just the reality of student life for us 🤷

Has anyone heard anything about using BlackRock for hemorrhoid treatment?

Alright, my bad—it’s not BlackRock, it's actually Jane Doe. And look, here's the deal: I take seven of these things—nothing happens. I take another seven—still nothing (well, unless you count the internal bleeding that starts right at the beginning!). So, I go and ask the Jane Doe rep if this stuff is even working, and she just gives me that line about how it definitely works and that I simply need to keep taking more...! $200 Every 14 cents?!? Come on... there’s obviously no discount on future stuff if it didn't actually work for you. It feels a little too much like one of those sneaky traps I've fallen for before—though, I guess it's possible it works for some people. For everyone else? Just throwing money down the drain.

I was actually reading up on this online about a year ago—it’s honestly such a fascinating read, but if you’re asking me if it’ll actually work? I have my doubts!!!😕

I have a hemorrhoid surgery scheduled at Mayo Clinic.
I’m hoping anyone who has gone through a similar procedure could share their experience—specifically regarding the recovery process and how intense the pain is post-op.

P.S. They are internal hemorrhoids.

Thanks.🙏

I haven't personally gone through that, though I find myself wondering what led to your decision to opt for surgery; is it an urgent matter or just a matter of managing the current symptoms? It’s purely out of curiosity for my own understanding, so thank you for sharing.🙂

I’ve been struggling with this for quite some time now, but over the last six months, I’ve been experiencing bleeding after every single bowel movement. This constant blood loss is really starting to take a toll on me—I’m dealing with brain fog, total lethargy, and just feeling generally wiped out. The only silver lining is that I don't actually experience any pain.
None of the non-invasive methods have done much to help, though I suppose things improve slightly when I’m being strict about my diet.

I am under no illusions; I know there will be some discomfort and various complications ahead. However, I would truly appreciate it if someone who has actually gone through the procedure could share their experience. Specifically, how long does the recovery period actually last, and what kind of side effects should I be bracing for?

On a side note, I’ve heard that laser treatment is superior to standard infrared electrocoagulation (which is what one or two private clinics in Washington, D.C. offer), but the cost is astronomical and I simply don't have the funds right now...

Is there seriously no one here who has had this done? 🤷

Hemorrhoids affect up to 60% of adults. Don't panic, but you need to cut out alcohol immediately. Let's get moving:
Spicy food, fast food, acidic dishes, greasy meals—you have to strip all of that from your diet right now. Regarding hygiene, the best move is to wash up thoroughly after every bathroom trip, and if you're dealing with external hemorrhoids, try to soothe them back to normal. Believe me, I deal with internal ones and spend way too much time sitting, yet I've only experienced bloody stools once in my entire life.

I am a newcomer here, and seeing how many pages this thread spans, I find myself lacking the motivation to read through everything. To get to the point, a few days ago, while attending to some urgent business, I noticed blood on a large hemorrhoid. There was also blood on the toilet paper. I have been reading lately that one should rinse with water after every bowel movement. Now, I am wondering if I should continue using toilet paper or if I should switch immediately to rinsing. Furthermore, I would like to know what constitutes "rinsing" in this context. Does it imply a shower, using a damp cloth, or perhaps something else entirely? Any guidance would be appreciated...

Long story short: a few days ago, while I was taking a dump, I noticed some blood on a large seashell. Even the toilet paper was stained. I've been reading up on it, and apparently, you're supposed to rinse off with water after every bowel movement. Now I'm wondering—should I keep using toilet paper, or should I switch immediately to rinsing? Also, what does "rinsing" actually entail in this context? Am I talking about using the shower, a wet cloth, or something else entirely? Help...

Feel free to use the shower... and you can definitely still use toilet paper beforehand—it doesn't cause hemorrhoids, even if some people claim it's better to skip the paper entirely and just rinse off afterward.
