Just one question... has anyone else dealt with bleeding that fluctuates—sometimes a bit heavier, but mostly just light spotting when wiping after a harder stool?

Otherwise, my bowel movements seem pretty normal....

How would you even classify this pattern?

And another thing... everything is running smoothly for now—both ways, inside and out—but... I mean, sure, things might work like this for twenty years, but who actually knows how much longer that'll last before it all goes sideways? It’s probably better to just stay ahead of the curve!

So, basically, it feels like they just shoved flour into my Malab Pilex tablets—all they did was trigger some bleeding, but as far as actual relief goes? Absolutely nothing. Zero. So, what am I supposed to do now?

If you don't even know what's causing it, what are you waiting for?? Our official diagnosis?

Look, Jessica Grant56, don't be quite so hard on them! 🙂We all know there are times when it feels much easier to just ask for advice here rather than sitting in a doctor's office... though, I suppose when we're talking about actual bleeding, I have to agree with you... you can't just go around playing games with unsolicited medical tips. Seriously, people! EXAMS AREN'T THAT INTENSE, TRUST ME! Especially when you're just starting out and everything hasn't really reached that painful stage yet.

Hold on a second... what do you mean by being strict?? We need to make it clear to everyone: we DO NOT accept anyone who isn't brave enough to find out WHERE the bleeding is coming from!!! Why? Because there’s no room for playing games here—if it turns out they're just hemorrhoids, then sure, we have plenty of time to pass around advice, good or bad, without worrying about things getting worse. But IF THEY AREN'T?!?

I wouldn't even make it a debate: go to the doctor IMMEDIATELY!!! If they diagnose it as just those annoying, standard hemorrhoids—which basically plague 3/4 of the population (mostly because we're all sitting at desks all day)—then fine! You'll get plenty of advice...

I’m in complete agreement with Jessica Grant56. Honestly, I just made it back home today following my surgery, and as you can see, the turnaround was pretty quick—two days in the hospital and by the third day, I'm already back in my own living room. Everything went incredibly smoothly, without any complications or unexpected hiccups. I did feel some pain immediately after the procedure on the first day, but it wasn't even close to the level of discomfort people warned me about; it really wasn't that bad. Yesterday felt even better, and today the only real discomfort comes after using the bathroom, which seems perfectly normal. If I had known this standard procedure would be this manageable, I probably would have opted for this instead of the stapler method from the very start. Anyway, the current plan involves sticking to a light diet, doing warm salt water soaks (though I’m hoping to get to the beach soon), and avoiding sitting down whenever possible. I truly feel like I might finally be able to live a normal life again🙂. Just for context, I was dealing with 3rd and 4th degree hemorrhoids, so it was quite a situation😱

If you’re looking at this kind of thing as just a mild form of fasting, then yeah, you’ve pretty much hit the nail on the head.🙂😂

I guess I’ll just be one of those overly intense fitness fanatics then😁..I used to lean more towards the athletic type😉..but honestly, skipping the heavy stuff for lighter meals feels right for the summer, and I actually feel a lot better for it. Yesterday, I made a real effort to get down to the beach, and let me tell you, jumping into the ocean was a total lifesaver! Plus, my backside felt surprisingly good out there😁..recovery seems to be moving along nicely..

At the end of the day, what you eat affects everything, so don't forget to stay on top of your hygiene.

I’m inclined to disagree with that, honestly. I’ve never been one for greasy or heavily spiced food, yet here I am dealing with this anyway—and as far as hygiene goes, that’s just common sense to me. That said, I won't argue that what we eat impacts our health; I'm completely on board with that part.

Had my first follow-up appointment today... everything looks great so far. I'm still sticking to a light diet and spending plenty of time swimming in the ocean😛! It’s honestly the best part of this whole thing

But how does that actually apply here?? If you eat something way too salty or super spicy, that’s basically it—nothing else matters when it comes to those flared-up capillaries!!

So, I can tell you firsthand that after crushing a massive amount of ice cream yesterday, I had to hit the bathroom, and things were a bit bloodier than usual. Honestly, before that, there wasn't even a single drop of blood because those tablets I’ve been taking—the Hemoroidin ones from Encian—have been doing the trick. Now, whether they’ll work for anyone else is something I can't really swear by, but they definitely did the job for me 😉. I just finished up another round in the restroom a little while ago, and once again, not a trace of blood to be seen. If I had to guess what triggered yesterday's mess, it was probably that huge ice cream binge 😉.

I just went again a moment ago and there isn't a trace of blood, so my best guess is that the sheer volume of cold ice cream was what triggered yesterday's mess 😉

Try to think back on what you ate right before the ice cream, because honestly, it would be a first for me to hear about dairy causing issues like that... all I know is that sometimes people get diarrhea from eating something too cold, and we all know how much that doesn't help when you're dealing with hemorrhoids. Dealing with diarrhea is just a nightmare when you're already struggling with bleeding😲

I didn't touch anything spicy or heavy all day, and after lunch, I finally had a "movement" and there wasn't even a single drop of blood in sight. I didn't eat anything else in the afternoon besides that ice cream, but once I got back from my workout, well, nature called again, and this time the bleeding was actually pretty intense. But honestly? Everything is totally fine now. Like I mentioned before, these pills really did the trick for me 😉

I could really use some help here.
A friend of mine needs to see a proctologist urgently.
Does anyone have any experience or solid recommendations they could share?
Which doctor should she go to?
Thanks!

In that case, you’re probably best off just sticking to whatever actually works for you. It really does help to stick to lighter meals... honestly, if you can, it might be worth keeping a little log of which foods trigger things, just so you aren't guessing when it happens.
