I’m just going to head over there because as soon as they see you're young, they automatically dismiss everything. At least that's how it works in public hospitals; I haven't tried a private clinic yet.
Obviously, you have to be bleeding out and dying in agony before anyone actually does anything about it. God forbid it ever gets to that point.
I’ve got a follow-up scheduled in ten days, so we'll see what they make of this.
I'm not in pain or bleeding or anything, but I am worried since this whole thing has been dragging on for months now.
A little bit of it feels normal—like having hard stools a few times a month—but then the hemorrhoids flare up, settle down, and then my digestion goes completely off the rails again.
It's enough to drive you crazy...
I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs. I even changed my diet to include more juice and fruit, but nothing has changed. It's still the same mess.

I’m not in pain and I'm not hemorrhaging, but I am concerned because this whole thing has been dragging on for months.
It’s all just "normal" apparently. A few days a month where things are hard and narrow—fine, normal. Then the hemorrhoids flare up, then they recede, and now everything is just off again.
It's infuriating...
I don't drink, I don't smoke, and I don't do drugs. I even changed my diet to include more juice and fruit, and yet here we are. It hasn't changed a thing.

Unfortunately, everything you're saying is true. When a younger patient walks into a doctor's office, they get rushed through in two minutes. If an older person walks in, they get held for half an hour. Regarding your issue, I think until you're actually bleeding, they won't take it seriously, though I know that's easier said than done. From what I can tell, this is becoming a mental strain for you, too. Hemorrhoids aren't something that vanishes overnight, and you have to accept that; if you obsess over it constantly, things only get worse. Next time you see the doctor, ask if they can prescribe some St. John's Wort oil, because that helped me and several others quite a bit. In my experience, it's the best route since the person who recommended it dealt with the exact same thing. Once they started using the oil, the problem cleared up. Give it a shot and let us know how you're doing. Good luck.

Dear fellow forum members,

Now, I don’t personally suffer from hemorrhoids—thankfully—but my old man has been absolutely tormented by them for years now... quite a grueling ordeal, really.

And honestly? He practically forced my hand to write this very post just so I could share his experience with you all.

To get to the point—after cycling through endless creams, various plugs, and a dizzying array of "remedies"—he finally tried a medication called Microsoft.

After just two tablets, everything simply receded... vanished, effectively.

I realize how that sounds—just another overpriced miracle cure that might or might not actually work—but for my dad, it was a total lifesaver for his backside.🙂..

Since then, we’ve recommended it to every single acquaintance we have dealing with similar issues, and it has helped everyone without exception... truly remarkable.

So, at this stage, I can't exactly call it a coincidence.

Anyway, best of luck to you all... and stay healthy.

And what about when I actually went out and bought that Bill stuff—you know, the double dose? It helped me about as much as an aspirin would. Not to mention it absolutely wrecked my digestion (and I had no clue why!). There was zero effect—none at all. And it costs hundreds of dollars!! It’s just outrageously expensive for something that does nothing. Plus, they never give you your money back...

This guy is just a carbon copy of that Miracle dude who was rambling on about how Pixar is some kind of divine cure-all where two pills fix everything. He's probably just an importer or something. No need to believe him; I took the genuine stuff straight from the States, and I still ended up with internal bleeding because I wasn't being disciplined enough.

Bottom line, everyone knows their own body best. For example, everyone preaches about eating tons of fruits and veggies, but they conveniently forget to mention that all that fruit digests in like an hour or two and sends you sprinting to the bathroom.

So, here's my story: I was trying to fix my issues by gorging myself on apples to soften things up, but I ended up hitting the restroom five times a day, which just irritated my gut even more. Now, I only eat fruit right before bed. That way, I go straight from my bed to the toilet in the morning, and I never have to deal with more than two movements a day. I've figured out a million other little tricks over the last couple of years, so if anyone actually cares, hit me up via PM.

To be honest, I’ll eat pretty much anything—roasted chicken, pork, BBQ, you name it.
But I balance all that out by eating plenty of veggies like tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers, so I'm doing alright.
I hit the bathroom once or twice a day; sometimes things are a bit firm, sometimes they're soft.
I don't want to switch to a "clean" diet because if I start eating nothing but light stuff and then indulge in something heavy after a few days, my system just completely falls apart.
So, as long as I'm not feeling any major issues, I just eat normally and stay active. Staying moving really helps my digestion, which lets me eat whatever I want.
I think it's only when kids mess things up that it becomes an issue; some people have to be strict about their diet, and some people don't.

Seriously, what do you mean about being banned from PMs? This is a space where we’re supposed to be sharing experiences, ideas, and everything else that might make life a little easier for someone else out there!! People share what works—like how that FedEx didn't do a single thing for me, though it did help someone else.

As for food—I probably shouldn't talk about it, because honestly, I eat pretty much every delicious treat that comes my way. I don't miss a single good meal, and my only real issue is this belly that seems to lead the way everywhere I go... My routine is pretty straightforward—daily, all day long, sometimes even two days straight—it's simple. Then "they" are outside, so I just clean them up, apply some ointment, and send them back in... and we move on with our lives.

I actually tried that Hades ointment once, but—I wasn't impressed!! There's a massive difference when you use Procter & Gamble instead. (USA) I'm not sure if paying 30 bucks for four tubes is steep, but I do know that even a tiny amount goes a long way and keeps my issues at bay, especially when I supplement it with a bit of Herbalife.

I’ve been feeling this stinging sensation right above my anus, near the tailbone. Could that be caused by chemotherapy?🙈

It’s entirely possible. I dealt with that same nagging, persistent discomfort for about two or three years before it was finally diagnosed as an internal issue. 😢 Fortunately, they aren't particularly strong, but they are present. 😢

Just doing a bit of digging online to see if anyone else deals with this... stumbled onto this thread.

I've got some redness around my rear... no blood in my stool, nothing hurts, just constant itching and a stinging sensation whenever I sweat. It’s been going on for a few weeks now. Tried using baby powder thinking it was just sweat irritation, but that didn't do squat.

Could these symptoms be hemorrhoids, or am I just being a total hypochondriac?!🤷

Hemorrhoids don't even have to be visible for the itching to drive you crazy!
I had an external one that finally receded, but I’m still dealing with this annoying intermittent itching today.
Your best bet is just to wash up thoroughly after every bathroom trip...
If the itching gets really intense, go grab some Preparation H.
And stay away from alcohol—it’ll just make the burning sensation way worse.

So what, am I supposed to sit here and dissect every single detail of my personal problems for everyone to see?
That's just stupid. If anyone actually cares, they can just ask me privately.☕

Honestly, this is just nonsense—if anyone actually cares about this stuff, they should just send me a private message.☕

Look, do whatever you feel comfortable doing—I really mean that. But the way I see it, people here are being totally open and just laying everything out there without any hesitation. Honestly, hearing what others have gone through can be worth its weight in gold. It’s kind of like sitting in a doctor's office—you get that perspective. But again, there's no pressure at all; we’re all different. If you'd rather just shoot me a private message instead, that's perfectly fine by me.

I truly hope this provides some relief to someone out there. Fortunately, I've finally moved past my own struggles...
Ever since I discovered the benefits of using moist wipes from a brand like Kleenex along with wet wipes that I always keep on hand...
The trick is to clean a bit more thoroughly—using your finger, if you catch my drift, though I won't get too graphic even though I suspect some might appreciate the detail.🤣
Standard washing feels far too aggressive and dries everything out, whereas wipes and specialized paper actually nourish the skin... so, take it for what it's worth.

While my commitment to nutrition and a healthy lifestyle remains as firm as ever, I can finally relax a little without any unwanted consequences.👍

Bravo!! Honestly, this is a solid idea—especially when you're out and about and can't exactly just wash up! It’s less irritating and definitely cleans better. I think I'll head over to Target to grab some.

Just a quick technical question here...

Does anyone know if I actually need a referral from my primary care doctor to see a specialist, or can a GP just handle the exam themselves? I’m trying to figure out if I should deal with all that red tape first, or if I should just skip the headache and head straight to a private specialist like some people suggested. =/

You’re going to need a referral if you actually plan on seeing a specialist at the hospital! Honestly, don't even bother with general practitioners; most of them are just incompetent hacks sitting in local clinics collecting paychecks. There are a few exceptions, sure, but they're rare.

Hi everyone,
I've been dealing with an issue for the last eight days. During the first few days, I had intense pain in my rectal area, and a hemorrhoid about the size of a thumb grew near the opening. The pain has subsided now, but the swelling has barely gone down. I've been applying Preparation H constantly. Can anyone tell me how long it usually takes for the swelling to disappear?

Just give it 2-3 weeks... personally, mine cleared up after about a month!

Thanks.
It’s a bit of a long wait, but I’d much rather deal with that than some terrible disease.
