Scary Movie 3

It wasn't really all that great... just a few funny moments and then nothing else...

I honestly can't wrap my head around who would actually want to sit through that absolute garbage of a movie!
The whole thing is just a textbook example of terrible, tasteless humor.
What else is there to say? The creators are Americans, and they’re clearly part of that elitist crowd at the top of the social ladder!
HERE IS MY TAKE: this movie is a total joke.

This movie is a complete disaster!!!

Sure, there are a few decent jokes in there, but overall? It’s just straight up trash !!!!!

It doesn't even feel like actual parodies anymore. Honestly, they should start making parodies *of* these fake-parody movies... I mean, Top Secret! is an actual parody!

It really bugs me that they don't get it—a parody doesn't strictly have to target specific MOVIES. You can parody literally ANYTHING!

But hey, looking at this mess, I can already see a fourth one coming just because they'll probably keep churning out more of these, but if they ever run out of ideas, they could always just fall back on a good old, worn-out, overplayed classic like The Matrix!

This movie is better than the first two—but honestly, maybe I'm just burnt out on those tired gags, or maybe the movie just isn't funny anymore. There are way better movies out there, much, much better. Personally, I don't think they should even bother making a fourth one.

The movie is trash !!!!! The best jokes... actually the ONLY jokes I saw were in the trailer before The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King... pretty pathetic, honestly.👎

And has anyone watched those "making of" clips? Man, they were just sitting there praising it over and over... total liars.😁

I mean, what even is this... just a terrible movie.

When you walk into a movie expecting absolutely nothing and just set all your preconceptions aside, it actually turns out to be pretty decent. There were some solid jokes, I managed to relax, had a good laugh, and honestly, I can't say I felt like I threw my money down the drain.

Obviously, it doesn't quite hit that specific dry British humor vibe, but anyone walking into Scary Movie 3 expecting some kind of cinematic masterpiece is being incredibly naive. Don't go looking for miracles and you'll be just fine.

Or better yet: just expect total trash and you'll have a blast.😁

There are a few hilarious bits—like that parody of 8 Mile

but honestly, the opening shot of that 8 Mile bit is pure gold, specifically when that little kid (wait, is he actually some famous rapper?! 🤔 ) starts greeting Eminem and they begin acting all goofy and 😂 😂 😂

It was honestly such a trash !!!!! movie, but I guess a pretty decent amount of people still went to see it (myself included) 🙂. That’s just how powerful marketing can be, I suppose.

The movie is a parody; you aren't supposed to take it seriously.
It isn't even your run-of-the-mill comedy—most of the scenes are built on paradoxes, which is exactly why they're funny.

Maybe the issue is that it mocks other movies, and if you haven't seen them, you just can't grasp the humor.

For instance,
that scene where they beat up Q. Latif with that woman in the circle is hilarious.

And if you haven't seen the circle movie, you won't get the joke.
In the original, that group is portrayed as ultimate evil, but this parody completely tears down all that seriousness.👍

The whole thing is just a parody, so I suppose it shouldn't really be taken seriously in the first place.
It isn't even your run-of-the-mill comedy—most of the scenes are built on these weirdly paradoxical setups, which is exactly why they end up being so funny,

but maybe the issue is that it pokes fun at other movies too; if you haven't seen those originals, it's probably hard to truly grasp or appreciate the humor.

For instance,
that scene where they're messing with LL Cool J and that woman in the circle is just hilarious.

And if someone hasn't actually watched Circle, they might struggle to see what the big deal is..
Since Circle portrays that group as this ultimate source of evil, this parody works by completely mocking the seriousness of the entire film.👍

Believe me, there are plenty of much better parodies out there than this one......

Honestly, the directors completely botched the second installment. They cut out key scenes—scenes that were actually hilarious—and without them, the whole movie is just a mess. I guess that’s why they let someone else take the reins for the third one.

Supposedly the first one is the best, though what am I even talking about?
The first one is at least tolerable, unlike those last two,
the third one is so incredibly bad that my friends and I ended up
running out of the theater after just 15 minutes, crying over the money we wasted—money I could have given to the Jehovah's Witness or the local charity workers who keep ringing my doorbell every single day...
