I’m honestly dying to hear from anyone who’s checked out some of those older Steven Spielberg flicks before

Bad Taste is absolute perfection, Meet the Feebles is such a hilarious parody, Braindead is totally wild, The Frighteners is actually pretty fun, and Heavenly Creatures is super interesting👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍

I picked up a copy on a burned CD once... the label clearly said "Braindead," but when the movie actually started, the title card read "Dead Alive." Anyone else ever run into that?

😁

Honestly, I’m totally lost on why they even bother calling it Dead Alive...
I think I saw the flick maybe 6 or 7 years ago and it was labeled Braindead, but then I heard people talking about it being called Dead Alive too, even though it looks exactly the same to me😕...
Either way, the movie is an absolute blast👍 👍 👍

I’d honestly love to see all the current Steven Spielberg fans sit down and watch Braindead just to see what they have to say about it...😁

Forget all that crap! This guy actually found a tiny, hidden little shrine—complete with pictures, candles, and that creepy red stuff they use to make everything look extra spooky, haha!—tucked away in my pantry just a day after I watched 'Forgotten Silver'.

I actually picked up this movie on a disc once... and the cover specifically said "Braindead," but then the actual movie starts and says it's titled "Dead Alive"... does anyone know why?

Well, "Dead Alive" was just the title used for the US release—apparently, there was already a movie called "Braindead" out here at the time.

I honestly fell in love with Jackson's style the very first time I saw "Heavenly Creature" at the American Film Institute about seven or eight years ago; it’s easily one of the best films from the nineties.

Yeah, right... you were always pulling that "your mother ate my dog" crap back in the old forums...😁 ...that was your thing, wasn't it?

Oh man, yeah... you definitely had a moment back in the old signature days when you used to go with that "your mother ate my dog" line... 😁 I think that was from way back then, wasn't it?

Total garbage—I was literally pissing myself laughing 👍 👍 👍
Braindead is alright too, I guess, but it’s still not quite hitting the mark 😉

ugh, man, I totally blanked on that one... isn't that the black and white one that feels like a documentary? I think they shot it in New Zealand... heard nothing but good things about it though, just haven't actually sat down to watch it yet.

Bad Taste is a total legend—honestly, ever since I saw it, I haven't been able to look at food the same way.🙂

I mean, remember when Derek is constantly patching up his own brain...
or that part where he hits a low fence—barely higher than his knees—spits in his hands, rubs them together, and tries to act all cool jumping over it, only to end up stumbling around like a total primate... 😁 😁
Bad Taste is pure insanity. I watched it back when I was just some kid in middle school about 15 years ago, and I was absolutely dying laughing...
Human meat fast food... it’s madness....

And especially that bit where they're debating who to call for backup: moms, robots, specialists... but then they decide, "No, let's call the actual specialists" 'BOYS'.... hahahahahah

Black and white?
Nah, not really! It actually has plenty of color.

And yeah, oh yeah, it is seriously awesome. Total must-watch!

I’ve only ever seen Heavenly Creatures, but I thought it was quite good; I even went through a phase where I convinced myself I actually looked a bit like Kate Winslet 😁

I've only ever seen Thelma & Louise, and honestly, it’s such a great movie. I can't quite remember all the details, though... I really need to borrow a copy sometime... that one scene in the bathtub definitely stuck with me.

Man... I was honestly hoping for a bigger turnout on this one. I guess it just goes to show how little people actually know about the classics these days.😠
