Ladies and gentlemen, dear friends, and those of you who are slightly less dear!

Let's see how well you know your movie quotes. Hopefully, someone decides to join in with their own... eh, eh...

1. Someone once told me that time was a predator who stalked us all our lives. But I rather believe that time is a companion who goes with us on a journey, reminds us to cherish every moment because it will never come again.

2. Welcome to the revolution!

3. Even the wisest cannot tell for it shows many things: things that were, things that are, and some things that have not yet come to pass.

Star Trek: New York City
under siege
O Brother, Where Art Thou?

Hey, I've got a little test for you; which movie does this quote come from?

By some estimates, 2% of the Japanese
population had a meth problem after
the war: factory workers, soldiers,
pilots. Maybe that's why it took two
bombs to get 'em to surrender. A
nuclear blast is just a minor
nuisance to a determined tweaker.

Hello, I'm impressed. Did anyone actually remember quotes from New York City? You only slipped up regarding the third movie... it's a much more famous film than that. As for your quote, I haven't a clue, I don't think I've seen that one.

I believe I'm third, if we're going by
Lord of the Rings (Galadriel says)
. Let me take a shot at this:

1. Good, bad, I'm the guy with the gun.

2. Satan : They're amazing the things they do. They're inventing themselves now. Artificial intelligence and cybergenetics and sol on
Jesus: It's impressive, I admit.
Satan : Well.... I agree.
Jesus: Now that's just stupid.
Satan : Well.... I agree.

And one easy one for the road:
3. You can't go arround killing people!
Why?

The guy knows his stuff 🙏🙏

You're making things sound easy now, but let's be honest—nobody else would have even known what to say about that. 😁

Yeah, the White Lady. Like, when Frodo goes to look into some water she's pouring out of an elegant little pitcher.

Aliens

p.s. the quote I posted above is from 'Salton Sea'

Alright, this one's a breeze:

Remember those posters that said, "Today is the first day of the rest of your life"? Well, that's true of every day but one --- the day you die.

American Beauty?

I'm pretty sure Edmund Spacy delivers that line in one of his monologues.

American Beauty?

Yeah. By the way—I think I pretty much know the American Beauty script by heart at this point. 😉

This one feels slightly more difficult to parse.

tip: Excuse me. It's Two Russians are staying here. Do you know which floor they're on?
recepcioner: Yes, I know which floor they're on.
tip:(hands a specific amount of cash to the receptionist) And which floor would that be?
recepcioner: (takes the money) We've only got one floor.

"Birthday Girl" - Ben Chaplin dialog

What movie is this from?

I admire you as a policeman, particularly your adherence to violence as a necessary adjunct to the job.

Which movie is this from:

I hold you in high regard as a law enforcement officer, specifically because of your commitment to using force as a fundamental component of the profession.

Look, if you aren't on the forum, I'm not playing games with you. 😛

It isn't enough to simply possess all the knowledge in the world; the true test is whether you can actually provide me with something I don't already know. 😁

Well, I suppose someone else might have actually known. 😁

So, here's the question:

This is my rifle! This is my gun!
This is for fighting! This is for fun!
